Either with Sza or Morgan, it's still pretty cool either way. Sza having been going up and down between #2 and #3 for so long, or Morgan not only being the only #1 solo country song in ages but being able to return on multiple occasions.

So is that the longest stay in the top 2? and top 3? As It Was holds both of those records with 15 weeks at #1, 10 weeks at #2 and 3 weeks at #3. So, 3 weeks at #3 is a record?

Can we expect a top 10 delay since they wonβt reveal the Billboard 200 until Monday? Probably. Theyβre also probably gonna need extra time to re-adjust the formula in the midst of the audience recalibration.

No, definitely not. βAnother Nightβ spent 11 weeks at number 3 in the mid 90s. Plus a lot of other songs spent more than 3 weeks at 3, so I donβt really follow the original comment.

Billboard's radio audience level does not always have the same conversion ratio as Mediabase's radio audience level.
Billboard may also change the formula to offset such changes.
I still think Kill Bill has a chance.

Damn SZA's so close. It's kind of a shame that ARMY is willing to buy hundreds of thousands of extra copies to get Jimin #1, yet SZA's fans can't muster up just a few thousand extra sales. I'll admit buying a couple extra copies this week to help her out (and I haven't bought a digital single in years).

So I don't think so. Just because Billboard uses Mediabase data to make their radio charts doesn't mean it will lead to the same outcome.

Perhaps not the exact same panel, but if Mediabase did an AI recalibration, then it would have to affect Billboard too.

Based on the bb200 units (out of the top 10), the Jimin song's sales got filtered to oblivion and he's breaking the record for largest drop from #1 (out of the top 50)
Confirms the 1 sale per lifetime (not reporting week reset) thing...

Hopefully BB is aware that Streaming and Radio is easier to manipulate than a Mass Buying which is of course it means that an artist has a Die Hard fans. Not the platform that corrupt labels can manipulate easily for the sake for of their puppets. Check the Dark Web and you can see services that sells hundred of thousand of different crack accounts and AI's bot software that can play songs simultaneously. No doubt Drakes fart can play 2 million minimum in a single day. π

Check the Dark Web and you can see services that sells hundred of thousand of different crack accounts and AI's bot software that can play songs simultaneously. Problem with this conspiracy theory: how come there's no signs of a song getting its foot in the door this way? Even if you think it'd get filtered if an indie tried it because it'd be too obvious, what's stopping someone with the cash from, say, platforming a random new song from Warner's Elektra Records (e.g. something from Alec Benjamin's new project), Universal's Mercury Records (e.g. one of the prerelease singles from AJR's new project), or Sony's Arista Records (e.g. one of the prerelease singles from Upsahl's new project)? Instead, all of the songs that break through have had clear impetus to enter: proxy attention from TikTok virality, a prominent synch in some show, film, or something like that, or just normal radio traction.
