That Ray LaMontagne song may be the best I have heard from him so far.
Those AAA rankdown entries from Lucinda Williams feel underwhelmimg.

You mean to tell me that beyoncelover didn't take a SINGLE HIT to his bottom 10 out of 15 reveals?! Has this ever happened before? Usually there's at least ONE univerally loathed song that's basically a gimme. hahahaha I don't know but this tends to always happen to me, lol. You mean to tell me that beyoncelover didn't take a SINGLE HIT to his bottom 10 out of 15 reveals?! Has this ever happened before? Usually there's at least ONE univerally loathed song that's basically a gimme. I remember in one of the AAA Rankdowns I believe I saw a post that he once did not lose a bottom 10 in the bottom 30. I could be wrong. I can't remember if that happened but it probably did happen. Bottom 30 has to be even worse oh my god. Just-- HOW?! Idk what is worse, not losing a bottom 10 in the bottom 30, or losing all your top 10 before the top 30. I don't know what's worse either. But I do tend to lose all of my Top 10 before my Bottom 10 here, lmao.

70. Look After You - The FraySounds like they were starting to get their sound right, right before they became huge. Or was this after the fact? Idk, probably the lowest rank I'll give a Fray song. 69. Almost Lover - A Fine FrenzyLittle tame for my liking. I kept hoping she would eventually belt out a note or two like Demi's "Skyscraper", but that never happened. Very pretty song, with some nice vocal tones. 68. You Can Bring Me Flowers - Ray LaMontagneMore like dead flowers. There's my #100. Nothing hate worthy, just totally lifeless to me. Even the guitar couldn't save it. It's interesting to see some members who usually upgrade this guy snip his wings right off. 67. See the World - GomezI don't know why , but I expected more from this guy. This year's #1 song is that AAA style I can't sit through. 66. Be My Somebody - Norah JonesDidn't really work for me. Was this her original style. falls were I think it should. 65. Under the Influence - James MorrisonI really dug the instrumental arrangements this song had to offer. 64. Last Request - Paolo Nutiniback to these samey sounding songs. Vocal delivery was salvageable. 63. Signal Fire - Snow PatrolEasily the lowest rank I'll give this band. Made my top 50 for vocals only , tho the chorus sounded really messy. Truthfully I think I upgraded this a bit too much? If I had a do over I would purge it 10 slots lower. 62. The Picture - Son VoltAnotherone that falls were it should. Better vocals would have helped, cuz I really dug the brass section. 61. What Light - WilcoI've liked a Wilco song here and there, but this "Wilderness" sound doesn't work for them. 60. Working Class Hero - Green DayGreen Day covering John Lennon. eh ...Its Green Day so it barely misss my top 20. 59. Are You Alright? - Lucinda WilliamsNot terrible , but way too repetitive with the "are you alright" line. 58. 1973 - James BluntI really don't care for this guy's vocals tones at all. The song would have sounded great with Mark Knopfler on the mic. 57. Sly - The Cat EmpireFirst time listen. Pretty Wild and loads of fun. 56. Window in the Skies - U2I kept asking myself was this a first time listen? Don't recall it ,and it's not on my chart archives. If it is than it's my favorite first timer form this list of song. Didn't think I'd be the highest ranker, but I also didn't think my last two tank jobs would survive the bottom half of this RD. EXTRAS:Back to Black - Amy WinehouseI've come to appreciate Amy's Vocals and song style a lot more since it was on the radio. You Know My Name - Chris CornellGave this one a couple weeks of chart action. Don't think Rock works with 007 vibes. There is So Much More - Brett DennenThe song itself isn't bad, but don't know what's harder? Sitting through these vocals or sitting through these vocals ,and starting at that thumbnail. Life is Beautiful - Vega4All I got from this was the urge to listen to Snow Patrol.Let Love In - Goo Goo DollsWould have loved to rank this one. This was a top 10 song from my weekly charts. Wonder if we will run into the other two singles in 2006?

Catching up on this list now! 100. She's Mine - Brett Dennen: LOL Not me being the highest ranker of the #100 song with me ranking this at #52 while the other ranks are from 70-100. Lmaoo this is gonna be another bad game for me, I bet lmao. 98. Sing It All Night - deSol: I can't really remember this one that well but lmaoo me being the only ranker to place this in their Top 60, with putting this at #47. 97. Good Excuse - The John Butler Trio: Lmaoo wow another song where I'm the highest ranker as I ranked this at #38. I'm just doing worse and worse, lmao. At least I'm not the only Top 50 ranker here. 94. In the Colors - Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals: Now there's the 4th song already where I'm the highest ranker with me ranking this at #34 and being the only Top 60 ranker. Lmaoo I'm just so out of touch, it's hilarious. 91. Ride the River - J.J. Cale & Eric Clapton: Lol so close to losing something from my Bottom 10, as I lose my #89 here. So I lost none of my Bottom 10 within the first 10 reveals. 90. Bubbly - Colbie Caillat: Dangg at this getting 4 #100s. Ouch. Lmaoo danggg, of course I lose a Top 10 this soon which is my #6. Aww I'm not too huge on Colbie Caillat, but I do love "Bubbly" and this is my favorite from her. This is really pleasant and adorable. Ooof, yikes this is one of her lower showing songs in her Performance history, which I also do not get. 87. Hey There Delilah - Plain White T's: OMG LOL I was fully expecting this to be my #3 as I have mostly been the highest ranker to show up in this rankdown, lmao. But okay, I still didn't do good as this is my #5 that I lost. I know this is a polarizing song, but I do love this and think this is a really nice and gorgeous song. Yikes at 8 Bottom 5 and 10 Bottom 10 rankings for this. 83. Punish the Monkey - Mark Knopfler: Oooh nicee, it took about 18 reveals but I finally lose one of my Bottom 10 rankings, with this being my #93. 82. Wonderful World - James Morrison: Oh dangg, as soon as I lose a Bottom 10 ranking, I'm bound to lose another Top 10 ranking. And ughh my 3rd one too. :'( Gahh noo, sad to see this go as I loved and really enjoyed this song from James Morrison. I really like and enjoy the sound of this. Wished this was higher. 81. Nobody - Ryan Shaw: Aww nooo, really sad to see this show up. I wasn't really familiar with this but I really liked/loved this while listening to it. So much so that I ranked it at #13. It was probably my highest (or at least one of) discoveries for me. Great song... and I was really surprised seeing an R&B song like this in the AAA chart. 79. Gravity - John Mayer: Really nice song from John Mayer that I really liked enough to rank it at #16. It's nice and very pretty. However, I know John Mayer songs tend to be polarizing so not surprised to see this show up and have the 12th highest SD. 75. Better Than - The John Butler Trio: Oh joy, yet another song where I'm the highest ranker this time with a song that I ranked at #23, lmao. 74. My Way - Los Lonely Boys: Lmaoo not a second song in a row where I'm the highest ranker. Of course this happens. I do really like this song and think it's a lot of fun! I really enjoy the fun sound of this. And I also like this wayyy more than "Heaven." Of the first set of extras, I like: "The Pretender" by Foo Fighters, "Home" by Daughtry, "Diablo Rojo" by Rodrigo y Gabriela. LMAOO my rankdown closeness being 37.133, where I am nearly 12 points away from the second lowest person there, lmao. Then me having only 7 Top 10 songs remaining while having 9 Bottom 10 songs remaining, is just so fitting for me.

{THE W}#70: I sleep #69: Okay, sorry Fray, NOW I sleep #68: Not one of Ray's best, but pretty decent. #67: I was excited to get to this after "Airstream Driver", and, instead, it was just another boring AAA song. #66: Probably the lowest I will be ranking Norah until we get to the end of her songs. #65: I thought this was a Gavin DeGraw song for the longest time. I hear this song at work a lot, like his other song here. Unlike "Wonderful World", I generally don't mind this. #64: Paolo looks like the type that would make an artistic statement with his last meal. He'd probably ask for something like mint leaves. #63: I will give this song this: It is an improvement over "Don't Give In". #62: It should not have been the lower of the Tupelo songs. #61: My point still stands. #60: Even though it should surprise me that this has a high SD, Green Day's weaker songs have been high SD magnets on AAA. Hot take: The Lennon version isn't even all that good, let alone this cover. #59: Lucinda has yet to really let me down. #58: To say that I wasn't expecting this James Blunt song to be okay would be a big understatement. Let me see what's next in the pipeline for James, and...welp. #57: The Cat Empire...what a name. #56: It's no "Magnificent", of course, but it's also sure as hell not "Get On Your Boots" lol

I went back and looked at my ranking for Green Day in 2007 Alt. I put it in my 60's then. Five years later, and it must've been the right song at the right moment because something had to have clicked for me to put it top 10 here and now.
RE: Aussie acts, ehh at both John Butler Trio songs and The Cat Empire being out. I think I heard 'Better Than' on the radio pretty regularly and didn't much care for it. 'Good Excuse' was a bit lol wut. I only really know one other Cat Empire song off the top of my head, and it's one that would've been a massive hit here I think... except it never charted because it didn't get a physical release (or something).

I love the “Year-End Chart Closeness” stat because it’s totally random. My name has been zipping up and down and up and down there with every set of reveals.

70. Look After You - The Fray: Ooh I'm happy not to be the highest ranker of this song but not surprised that I am one of the highest ones with ranking this at #21. Also not surprised this has the 16th highest SD. This isn't one of my top favorites from The Fray, but it's still a really enjoyable song from them. 69. Almost Lover - A Fine Frenzy: Oooh there I go... being the highest ranker of another song yet again. This being my #29. I remembered this song and think it's a really lovely and pretty song. Also wish this could have been higher. Nice to see no Bottom 10 rankings for this. 65. Under the Influence - James Morrison: Ooh dangg, there goes yet another song where I'm the highest ranker for. :'( I wasn't as familiar with this James Morrison song as I was with his other one, hence my lower ranking of placing this at #18. But I still think it's great and do really like it. Wish this could have done better. Happy for no Bottom 10 rankings here though. 64. Last Request - Paolo Nutini: Ugh nooo, not another song where I'm the highest ranker at before the Top 50. Make it stop, lmaoo. Dangg sad to see this show up as I ranked this at #10 and do love this song. :'( This is easily my favorite from Paolo Nutini. Yay for no Bottom 10 rankings for this one too. 62. The Picture - Son Volt: Okay yayy now we get to a song where I'm finally the lowest ranker of. And yay I cleared out just my second Bottom 10 song, which is my #96. Lowest ranking revealed yet, lmao. 60. Working Class Hero - Green Day: Kinda surprised seeing this have the 3rd highest SD. I didn't think this song would be so polarizing. Not one of my very favorite Green Day songs but I do still like it and like it enough to rank it at #28. 58. 1973 - James Blunt: Hmm I think I'm a little surprised this made it so high as I feel James Blunt songs are usually polarizing and not well liked on here? But then that could just be because of "You're Beautiful." I do like this enough to rank it at #42. Of the extras, my favorite would be: "Back to Black" by Amy Winehouse LMAO I love how I am the highest on the Year-End chart closeness but by far the lowest on the rankdown closeness. Lol I can't wait for razorshark to lose their #100 so I can be the last one with their #100 remaining. Then LMAOO OUCH at me only having 6 Top 10 rankings remaining while having 8 Bottom 10 rankings remaining. I would. Lol dangg that I only got 28 Top 50 songs remaining out of 55? Oof.
