Good numbers for Kelly. Honestly, I was afraid the album would struggle to hit even 30k units, but I'm thrilled by this estimate.

I'm surprised at how low the Peso Pluma album is tracking! Maybe the Hot 100 success kinda blinded me, but I thought streaming can't have been too shabby? Notably, Ella Baila Sola is not on his album -- so that hurts a bit streaming wise for the album. But, his songs are actually streaming comparably to the non-outliers in his discography (the outliers being Ella Baila Sola, La Bebe, Bizarrap Collab which have had great streaming #s). He's also a streamings artist, so his sales are likely to be nominal (ie. Kelly is #1 on iTunes, he's #13). He's still aiming for the largest week for a regional Mexican album since Billboard started measuring titles by units in February 2017. Interestingly, the current record holders are Eslabon Armado with 44k units. Their album was propelled to that sum due to Ella Baila Sola being at its peak. |

Nice to see Kelly debut in the top 10 this late in her career, and a push for the top 5 would be even better! Too bad it can't also produce a Hot 100 and at least a minor pop radio hit, but you can't ask for too much!

Her last full-length original album debuted at #2 with 79k all the way back in 2017. A dip in numbers is to be expected at this point in her career, especially after such a long hiatus without any project of non-Christmas music. The album is basically selling on her name alone, taking into consideration how confusing the release strategy has been and with seemingly no active single (I think "mine" is stuck somewhere in the 14-15 range on HAC). And to be fair, she hasn't actually used the show to promote this album, except for one performance of "mine" months ago. |

Music isn't her main focus anymore and the promo has been rather muted, so these numbers are good. (And as Shooter pointed out in the Kelly thread, she is outselling 98% of the top 20 combined in physical units). Not bad at all for someone 21 years in the game. |

Maybe Bad Bunny's comeback singles split the attention from Peso Pluma's listeners? |

Top five is decent for Kelly Clarkson considering the album has made absolutely zero noise outside of her stanbase.
Peso Pluma overperformed, Young Thug didn't even come close to #1 as they initially expect.
Overall a boring week lol.

Kelly’s Idol peer, Carrie Underwood, had her last album debut at #9 with 31,000 last summer. I think it’s pretty impressive that she out performed her, as Carrie has traditionally been the bigger opener.
