Yeah, I'm fully convinced that Megan Moroney is going to be up there on Lainey Wilson's level within a year's time. Debuting at #58 on the Hot 100 for a random non-single release is nothing short of incredible, especially for a female in the country sphere. Megan's just firing on all cylinders, and is going to be a huge format star for years to come, which I couldn't be more excited about. just hope Moroney would be strong enough to challenge Lainey for Female Vocalist at the CMA,ACMs I love Lainey but I just don't want the Miranda-won-it-every-year situation again

Enters the Top 25 on both charts this week, gaining 2 spots on Mediabase to #25 and 228 spins this week (fun fact it has the highest bullet of all the songs in the 21 to 30 range on that chart). As for Billboard Airplay she gained 3 spots on that chart and gained close to 1 million in audience on that chart.
Curious to see if this is the start of this song starting to pick up steam and momentum from here on out, or if this week was a fluke.

Releasing “28th of June” next Friday. Beyond excited. I like it even better than “No Caller ID.”

Could this move a little faster? Can't wait for NO CALLER ID to smash at radio well if it can

Will this be done at radio soon? Most likely especially with her sophomore album looking to drop in June.

I was hoping this would be way bigger, and it *should* have been, but I love Megan's approach to the game so much by still putting out new bangers while this is spinning its wheels at radio, with "No Caller ID" doing better than this one despite not being a radio single, lol. Looking forward to her full-length second project and hopefully NCI or something else smashing at radio soon.

I hate country radio..
If You Go Down Everything She Ain't Out of That Truck I'm Not Pretty
Were all streaming hits, and they couldn't get them past the teens.

Honestly I'm just happy each of them made it that far. They probably deserved better but I also am glad radio didn't go all "If He Wanted To He Would" with them. I wish country radio would play them more than the singles from Scotty McCreery, Chris Janson, etc. But my expectations for country radio are so low I will take them being Top 20 hits.

So far I don’t think country radio is that into Megan So if Lainey’s chart success follows Carrie’s route then Megan’s would probably follow Miranda’s It would not be easy for Megan to smash at country radio

So far I don’t think country radio is that into Megan Oh no it's waaaay too early to draw that conclusion imo. I think she'll be huge at the format sooner rather than later, but country radio just can't be bothered to play too many females at once and she had to compete with like 4 other ladies (some of which have thrown in the towel or are about to), plus herself as she's got a full-fledged duet with OD in the top 20 as well. Considering all that, I wouldn't say radio isn't interested, but as usual women scraping top 20 is seen as a victory while mediocre men routinely go all the way to #1 without selling/streaming half as well. We're even seeing Lainey underperforming a bit at radio right now with her current single as "Wildflowers" won't come anywhere close to #1.

New album coming out July 12th. I really don't know what the rush to move onto new music was. Lucky was an incredibly strong album and still could've produced another hit (Lucky or Traitor Joe.)
I'm really curious if they continue to hang onto INP or if they drop it and start pushing "No Caller ID."

I’m also curious. The label mentions how it’s Top 20 and asks to “convert now” on a small ad for this week’s Country Aircheck.
I’m thinking they’ll stick to this one until maybe the end of this month max? I’d imagine they want the new single sent to radio in June.

New album coming out July 12th. I really don't know what the rush to move onto new music was. Lucky was an incredibly strong album and still could've produced another hit (Lucky or Traitor Joe.) I'm really curious if they continue to hang onto INP or if they drop it and start pushing "No Caller ID." Oh no, they are VERY smart moving on quickly here imo. "Pretty" has been out for 9(!) months and is currently toiling up the chart at a glacial pace, with it only just barely having scraped the top 20 thus far, despite having all the metrics indicating this should've already been another top 5 hit for Megan several months ago and been done. I do not blame her and her team for keeping it stepping because her marketing skills thus far as an artist couldn't be more ahead of the curve and that's part of why I think she'll be on top of the genre sooner rather than later. I'd love if they just slashed this one immediately and pivoted to "No Caller ID" asap, because I really feel like that one has a ton of buzz around it and would probably get to where "Pretty" is on the airplay chart currently in literally half the time. Lucky was a stellar album, but moving on to another stellar album is a good idea to keep momentum up, especially for someone like Megan who appeals so well to the younger streaming demographic. Lainey Wilson was smart to do the same thing a couple years ago when she followed up "Things a Man Oughta Know" with something brand new instead of wasting time promoting something else from the project that would have had less buzz to it.
