20. Morgan Wallen - Thinkin' Bout Me: I do like a few Morgan songs but this wasn't one of them. This was my #18 so I didn't really care for this. Don't mind this coming in last.
19. Morgan Wallen - Last Night: Lol ouch at Morgan having the Bottom 2 songs here, lol. Oooh now I do actually like this Morgan song as I ranked it at #15. But still, I didn't really get or connect with its huge popularity and I don't love it. Well done to him on the success of this song.
18. Jelly Roll - Need A Favor: This song is slowly growing on me. I like it enough to give it a #16. I've been hearing it a lot on the radio lately so that helps it grow on me. But I am still not that crazy on it.
17. Toosii - Favorite Song: Oh I didn't realized I only ranked this at #13 and thought I ranked it higher, oops. Anywho, I do really like this and think it's enjoyable. Wish it was higher but also not devastated with it showing up right now.
16. Bailey Zimmerman - Religiously: This is my #19 so I definitely didn't care for this. Also never heard this before this but listening to it now, didn't care for it.
15. Gunna - fukumean: Oooh nicee, I think all of the songs from my #15 to #19 rankings have all shown up now.
This was my #17 and is a song I wasn't really familiar with. But I also didn't really care for this while listening to it.
14. Lil Durk f/ J. Cole - All My Life: Ugh dangg, sad to see my #11 showing up already. Not a devastating loss but I do really like this and was hoping for this to be a little higher. :( Good song.
13. Eslabon Armado & Peso Pluma - Ella Baila Sola: Oh phew yayy my #20 shows up so now my entire Bottom 6 songs are cleared out now. I get the appeal for this but I just didn't really care for this while listening to it. I'm just glad I wasn't the only #20 for this song.
12. Nicki Minaj & Ice Spice w/ Aqua - Barbie World: Aww bummer, my first Top 10 loss. :( Dang sooo close to having my Top 10 be the actual Top 10 but I knew that wouldn't happen, lol. Anyway, I do really like/love this song and like it enough to give it a #9 ranking. I'm not upset with its ranking but I am just glad it beat out all of the songs in my Bottom 6.
11. Rema & Selena Gomez - Calm Down: Aww this is one of those songs that's been around for so long / aka the whole year but it's one of those songs that have slowly but surely grown on me over time. I do really like/love this enough to rank it at #8. Another song I wish that made it higher and in the Top 10 but also not too devastated with it showing up here. It is very cool seeing an afrobeats song becoming such a huge hit.
Of this Top 10, I had the following making the Top 10: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 12, 14. Not too bad.
10. Taylor Swift - Karma: Hmm on one hand, I'm not at all surprised that this was Taylor's first song to show up on this list. But at the other hand, I am surprised this only came in at #10. I thought it would have done better. This is my #6, so I do love this and think it's a good and catchy song from Taylor. Not one of her very best but still very good. Nice that doesn't have any #20 rankings.
9. Miley Cyrus - Flowers: Aww sad to see this showing up here as this was my #4 and I was really hoping it could be higher. A great song from Miley that ended up being a really huge successful hit for her, which was nice to see. I do get how it's insane overplayedness ruined the song for people, since yeah I can admit it was way overplayed. Still, it's great imo.
8. Metro Boomin, The Weeknd & 21 Savage - Creepin': Aww sad to see this show up too as this was my #5. I always really liked this but I did grow to quickly love this song. It's really enjoyable and catchy. The fact that this samples a song I love in "I Don't Wanna Know," also helps me love this. Ouch at this having the 2nd highest SD.
7. SZA - Snooze: Yeah this song is pretty, chill, smooth and relaxing. I do really like this and like it enough to rank it at #10. This became a bigger hit than I expected but well deserved for SZA as this is really good. Oooh it's very nice how this didn't get any Bottom 2 rankings.
6. Luke Combs - Fast Car: Wow I am reallly shocked to see this song making it all the way to #6. I wasn't too surprised about this making the Top 10 but I was expecting this to show up at #10 or #9 but when it didn't, I remained so surprised. I do like this and like it enough to rank it at #14. My liking of the original version certainly help me like this as I don't like or care for Luke Combs' original music, lol.
Of this Top 5, I had the following making the Top 5: 1, 2, 3, 7, 12. Yayyy my Top 3 still in lock. Hoping any one of those songs can win it.
5. Dua Lipa - Dance The Night: Lol oh, I totally forgot that I ranked this at #7. I thought I had this in my Top 3 for some reason, lmao. Anyway, this is a really cute, fun and catchy song from Dua. She can do no wrong with these dancey pop hits like this. So fun!
4. Olivia Rodrigo - vampire: Oh phew, I'm so glad this showed up now, hahaha. I knew this would rank really high and well so this coming in 4th isn't surprising. I was just scared of its winning chances. This is one of those songs that kinda didn't click that much for me but it did eventually grow on me. I have grown to really like it but still don't love it as much as some of her other songs. I like it enough to give it a #12 rankig.

3. Taylor Swift - Anti-Hero: Nicee very happy to get a perfect ranking with this song coming in at #3. I'm not a huge Swiftie but I do love this and think it's a great pop song from Taylor. I still enjoy a number of other songs from her but glad to see this rank so high.
Nicee that it's my #1 vs. #2 here.
2. SZA - Kill Bill: Aww I'm sad this couldn't pull off the win but at the same time, I am not too surprised. I ranked this at #1 and wow, along with 15 others - so a total of 16 #1s here. :o This is such a great jam from SZA and certainly one of the highlights of 2023.
1. Taylor Swift - Cruel Summer: Danggg this song getting 30 #1s. I have never seen anything like this in a rankdown. :omg: Anyway, this was my #2 and I am not mad at all seeing this song pull out the win. This is a really great, catchy and enjoyable song from Taylor. I love the feel and vibe of this and it's an all around feel good song. The story of how this song became a hit single in 2023 is reallly insane. A deserving winner.
