When it looked like Zimmerman was going to replace Morgan Wallen last year I remember so many people going to bat for him and I just didn't understand because his hit songs bored me and his voice usually kind of put me off. Then he released some really great singles in the winter (Where It Ends and Fix'n to Break) that flopped but got me excited for him. Annnnnd then his next big smash here turns out to be a return to boredom.
(At least he actually is better than Morgan Wallen these days.)

Thinkin' Bout Me has ass country-trap sound that copies from Burnin' It Down out of all songs and also douche lyrics, but I guess it attracts "I can fix him" kind of girl fans which is his market anyway so...
Last Night is still basic and sleepy.
I probably like Jelly Roll more than most (at least Whitsitt Chapel) but some of the online communities gassing Need A Favor to be more than it is while it is yet another song talking about his faith is so puzzling.
I will probably rank Favorite Song lower in Hot 100 YE because it finally bores me. Will do another round of assessment at that time though.
Religiously has a terrible chorus melody that is worse than Rock and a Hard Place's. Also don't expect me to rank Where It Ends high because it literally is redux of Fall In Love melody wise

Please be serious for once When I sent this I HAD NO IDEA THIS SONG WAS HATED I genuinely thought it was liked and that it would be somewhere like 12 not bottom 5. I was proven wrong. It is not my favorite song or anything but it was my favorite on this list. Honestly probably one of my weakest number 1s I ever had in a Rankdown. I have always been dead serious on my ranks, but yet I remember when you decided to tank 4 songs to have Sicko Mode win in the 2018 urban rankdown, although it would have won regardless without tanking too, if I knew it was not as liked as much maybe I would have had it at like 5 but I decided to be honest about my ranks which I usually am. Also I would love to rejoin the Discord if only I can get unbanned and be able to start over, but clearly no one wants peace again apparently, so I am screwed from ever returning, but would love like compromises so I can show I can behave. I mean I been trying to behave anywhere. |
