I think this one will get overlooked because the masterpiece that is "Ride" is right before it, but this is great! Out of both Born To Die and Paradise, this ranks among my top favorites for sure. That chorus clicked with me immediately when I first listened to the song.

"Ride" was clearly going to be the winner from the start. With 12 out of 18 #1s, it ran away with the win. In my opinion, this is the best song she released during her BTD/Paradise eras and is one of the best songs of her career. The buildup to the final chorus is SO GOOD and I still can't get enough of it.

Welcome to the Ultraviolence rankdown. Lana's first studio album since 2012's Born To Die was a complete 180 in terms of sound for her. Lana primarily worked with Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys to create a more dream pop and psychedelic rock sound for the album. Oof I definitely wanted to do this since I wanted to keep diving into Lana albums, but I just never had a place in my schedule for it. Solid results so far, though I imagine I'll start to disagree soon since I tend to find the hits on this album overrated. (My #1 might've been the opener Cruel World unless I discovered something better in the deep cuts.)
