50. Look What You Made Me Do - Taylor Swift (34): Oooh there it goes, the super polarizing Taylor song.
I loved how mixed the reception of this song is as some love it, some hate it and some are in between. I have grown to love this song some more over the years, enough so to rank it at #34. I think it's fun and catchy and got a lot of fun fiesty attitude. I was here for reputation Taylor, lol. The all over the place rankings don't surprise me though I thought it would have had a few more Top 10 ranks.
49. No Promises - Cheat Codes ft Demi Lovato (37): This is really fun and also love this song too. It's a fun, catchy and enjoyable song. I would have preferred the other Demi song rank higher but no big deal.
48. The Fighter - Keith Urban featuring Carrie Underwood (48): OMG oh snapp, yayyy I got a perfect rank for this song with ranking it at #48! Niceee!
This is a really fun and catchy song. It also had a more poppier sound than I expected from Keith & Carrie, but yeah still enjoy the sound of it and their voices on it.
47. Despacito (Remix) - Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee ft Justin Bieber (8): Ugh nooo, not "Despacito" showing up already. Ugh that is such a bummer. :'( I really love this song and it's such a jam! It was great seeing a Spanish (or more technically Spanglish) song become such a huge hit in the U.S. I also enjoy the inclusion of Bieber on this remix. Yayy for no Bottom 10 ranks, which pleasantly surprises me.
46. Location - Khalid (50): This is a real cool, smooth and chill song from Khalid. This was a really good breakthrough song from him. I have grown to prefer a few other songs of his but this still remains one of my favorites from Khalid.
45. ISpy - Kyle ft Lil Yachty (71): Lol this is such a fun, silly song that I can't help but enjoying. It's not anything groundbreaking but I like the chorus and the verses from the rappers.
44. Heathens - Twenty One Pilots (63): This is a cool, eerie and interesting song. I do like it well enough to rank it at #63. But it was also my least favorite of their 3 big hit songs - and oh, just realized the other two weren't featured here as they were in 2016. And this song is a split year song, oops. Anyway, it's still good.
43. Young Dumb & Broke - Khalid (56): Ooh, I ranked this lower than "Location"? I completely forgot about that. I thought I preferred this song over "Location"? But I guess not? lol I don't know as they are close in ranks for me. But this is another cool and enjoyable song from Khalid once again. It's cool that this song didn't get any Bottom 15 ranks.
42. Broccoli - DRAM featuring Lil Yachty (74): This was another one of those silly rap songs that while I wasn't a big fan of, I still enjoyed it. It's kinda catchy and really liked the beat.
41. Rockabye - Clean Bandit featuring Sean Paul and Anne-Marie (6): Ugh I rose this song up to #12 and then it dropped all the way down to #41? What happened here? :'( With me ranking this at #6, I am not surprised to be the highest ranker for this song. I do reallly love this song. It's fun, catchy and I love the unique sound of it. I really love what all of the artists bring to this song too.
40. Something Just Like This - The Chainsmokers ft Coldplay (65): Lol this is such an interesting song for me. This was a song I really liked a lot at first and the year it was out. But I got tired of it really fast and would lose some interest in it. I think the overplay factor wore this out for me.It's come back around a little bit for me but not enough for me to rank it any higher than #65.
39. Mask Off - Future (99): Oh I forgot what my last remaining Bottom 10 song was. Then I saw this showed up and figured it was this. But lmaoo oops, I totally forgot that I ranked this as low as #99. Lol oops... but I have no shame, haha. I just can't get into most of Future's music, particiularly his solo songs. Though I do like some of his collaborations. But yeah I just never cared for or could connect with this song.
38. Closer - The Chainsmokers ft Halsey (12): Ah LOL Of course when one of my least favorite songs show up, then one of my favorites follow up right behind it. It always happens, lmao.
I'm just glad it wasn't one of my Top 10s. Anyway, this was a super and way overplayed song but I've always loved it. It's fun, catchy and just got a great sound to it. I enjoy what both artists bring to this song and this also helped me like Halsey. I'm just glad that this was the higher ranked The Chainsmokers song here.
37. Congratulations - Post Malone ft Quavo (89): Hmm yeah this was a song that I still struggle with. I never cared for this and sadly it never warmed up much to me even though I liked or loved most of what Post Malone released after this song. I get the appeal but it's just never been one of my favorites from Post.
36. Bad and Boujee - Migos ft Lil Uzi Vert (76): Oooh lol I thought I ranked this higher than #76. I forgot how I ranked so many of these songs. Anyway, I do like this. It's a fun and catchy jam. The chorus is fun and catchy. Overall it's not one of my major favorite songs but I do still like it.
35. Bodak Yellow - Cardi B (32): Ahh dang, I was just 3 spots away from a perfect ranking... dang so close. :( Ugh this is a song I wanted and wish I could have put higher too. This was a great breakthrough jam from Cardi B. I love how hard she goes on this song with her rap flow and love the beat/vibe of this. So good. Ouch at the #100 ranking.
34. Bounce Back - Big Sean (69): This is a really cool and solid song from Big Sean. I love the chill vibe of the production here and how Big Sean raps on it. Ooh nice that there aren't any Bottom 19 ranks for this one, which I was not expecting. :o
33. Chained to the Rhythm - Katy Perry ft Skip Marley (36): Dangg yet another song I was just three spots off from a perfect rank but just in the other direction.
I do really like this song a lot. It's fun, catchy and I enjoy the sound of this. I also feel like this song gets a lot of undeserved flack and criticism. I don't think it's as bad as the criticism makes it out to be though I know this was the start of Katy's downfall on the charts.
32. There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back - Shawn Mendes (5): Ahh dangg, sooo close to making the Top 30. :( I'm sad it couldn't make it through there but I am glad it still made it reasonably further than his other songs. I do really love this song from Shawn. It's fun, catchy and has such a feel good vibe to it. This still stands out as my very favorite song of his. I'm glad that there are no Bottom 14 ranks for this.
31. Wild Thoughts - DJ Khaled ft Rihanna Bryson Tiller (29): Ughh dang it.... just TWO spots away from a perfect ranking? Omg I can never get a perfect ranking huh?
This is my #31. This is a really cool, smooth and hot jam. Really enjoy how both Rihanna and Bryson sound on this song. And the vibe of it is really cool. Ahh I love how this song didn't get any Bottom 25 ranks!
Onto the Top 30:
- Ughh nooo, I dropped a few spots in rankdown closeness to 2nd to last with a 28.63 score. Ugh that is a bummer. :(
- Still only one perfect rank.
- 5 of my Top 10 songs still remain. Hopefully those can all make it through to the Top 20.
