Kenyon Dixon is a singer/songwriter from Watts, AC who's been self-releasing music since 2018 while working behind the scenes with everyone from Mary J. Blige to Justin Timberlake. Along the way, he earned a second Grammy nomination with Lucky, a track lifted from his third album The R&B You Love. It was just nominated in the Best Traditional R&B Performance category at last weekend's ceremony; he was nominated in that same category two years prior for his part on a cover of Bring It On Home to Me recorded for the One Night in Miami soundtrack.

Ugh I missed so much so I'll just comment on select songs here.

50. Chris Brown - "Under the Influence:" Yeah it's no shock that this song came in last here. This is one of the songs I heard the most/most familiar with here but I just could never come around to liking this song. His vocal is really weird and I just couldn't get into this. Was surprised this became such a multi-format big hit. This was my #44 so not huge on this but it probably got that high for familiarity.

49. The Isley Brothers - "Last Time:" Aww I gave this a #29 ranking so I'm sad to see a song from the legends of the Isley Brothers. Crazy how it got such a low ranking with no last place rankings.

48. Dante Bowe feat. Anthony B - "Wind Me Up:" Dangg not my #24 showing up already. Ugh I don't like losing my middle ranks before all of my lower ranks... and those are still here. But yeah I did enjoy this one.

46. Tank feat. Chris Brown - "See Through Love:" Ah dang, I knew that the Chris Brown feature would hurt this song in rankings. A shame as I thought this was really good and I really liked this one a lot. Chris' vocals are much better/more natural here than in the other song... and Tank sounds great here too. I could love this with more listens.

45. Alvin Garrett - "'Til I Get Back to You:" Dang, this was my #22 so another song that I had positive feelings on and really liked. Sad to see this show up so soon but guess not too surprised.

44. MAJOR. - "Baby Will You Love Me:" Lost another middle ranking with this being my #27 going out here, lol.

43. J. Brown - "My Whole Heart:" Oooh dangg, wow I'm the highest ranker for this song with this being my #14? :o It's one of the many songs that were new to me that I didn't know but I really liked this a lot. Very beautiful song.

42. Danny Boy - "This Song:" LOL I feel like all of the songs in my 20s are taking hits as I lost yet another song in the 20s - this time, my #22. This is so not good for me, lmao.

41. Tanya Nolan feat. Raheem DeVaughn - "Pace Yourself:" This is the first female artist out, I believe? It's my #38, so one of the better exits for me. Still wish I could lose more of my lower ranks.

40. Kenny Lattimore - "Take a Dose:" Dangg, yet another song in my 20s exit - this time it being my #28, I feel like I must have lost all of my 20s ranks by now, lmao.

39. Josh X - "Love Takes Me Higher:" Lol I finally lose one of my Bottom 10s song, my second Bottom 10 song - which is my favorite of those as this is my #41. Alright with this falling out now but it could have showed up two spots earlier, lol.

38. Rihanna - "Lift Me Up:" Danggg, "Lift Me Up" can't do well, even in an Adult R&B rankdown. Jeeez, this song is just not well liked here despite how hard I try to help this song out, haha. I like this enough to give it a #4 ranking. It's a lovely and beautiful song from Rihanna though it's far from my favorite from her. Yikes so many Bottom 10s here. I'm also shocked to learn that this is her first top-10 hit on Adult R&B. I know this isn't her core format but I would have thought she would have had more songs to do well here. :o

36. Kenyon Dixon - "Lucky:" Oooh wow, yayy that my #50 leaves now. I don't even remember how this goes but I see this didn't leave much of a lasting impression on me nor was something I cared for, I guess. Happy with this showing up though.
