So many songs taking off at once. In 2018 many would have doubted Nicki would have a resurgence like this five years later. It's even more impressive given that when streaming really took off, she stood out among the biggest rappers as the one who had a lot of difficulty maintaining success. I said something similar in the album thread at one point and I'll say it again. Nicki is someone whom I can look at right now and very comfortably say they'll be in the RRHOF very soon after eligibility if not at once. Just like Madonna, who erased whatever iotas of doubt that lingered at the 15 year mark when she released Ray of Light, we don't even need to be close to Nicki's 25 year point to see this. |

I wish her label had really put their foot down when it came to singles. She has like four songs going at once and runs the risk of them cannibalizing each other and blowing the whole wad up front.
This would work so well as a double-A side with a more Urban leaning track, which is probably going to happen anyway, it could just be way more strategic/cleaner.
