I was listening to the Big 615 this morning and Keith Urban’s single Messed Up as Me played and Storme either mistakenly or on purpose mentioned that his new album will be out in September. Did not say the exact date but apparently we can expect it then. Hopefully a formal announcement will happen soon.

So excited for a full-length album from Ella Langley! Patiently waiting for them to try her at radio, though I know she's featured on Kameron Marlowe's new single, so I wouldn't be surprised if they hold off until next year to try anything from her to let that one breathe... provided it does anything.

Stoked to hear a new version of one of my favorite LBT songs with Kelsea! Wonder if there will be any other reimagined tracks or new songs on the project?

Ooh that's a great combo, I hope it's great!
I wish Capitol would have tried another single from Mr. Sun as there were some great options.
I think they're done having hits now though, hope they keep releasing music regularly though.

What’s sad to me is that it seems groups are getting phased out at radio anymore. Old Dominion seem like they’ve even struggled to get to top 10 (excluding “Memory Lane”) with their last several singles.

Any fellow Sylvia fans from back in the day? Sylvia recorded an album back in 1986 that RCA never released. RCA instead went with a Greatest Hits and held the album. Tonight at midnight, the album from 1986 will finally be released digitally. 1. “Never My Love” (Don Addrisi, Dick Addrisi) 2. “Blame It On Love” (Mary Ann Kennedy, Pam Rose, Pat Bunch) 3. “Can’t Turn My Heart Away” (John Barlow Jarvis, Eric Kaz) 4. “Makes You Wanna Slow Down” (Verlon Thompson, Rhonda Kye Fleming) 5. “Nothin’ Ventured, Nothin’ Gained” (Brent Maher, Don Potter, Don Schlitz) 6. “You Can’t Say (You Don’t Love Me Anymore)” (John Jarvis, Bill Lamb) 7. “Knockin’ Around” (Gary Burr) 8. “Come To Me” (Verlon Thompson, Sylvia Rutledge, Tom Rutledge) 9. “Good Life” (Don Schlitz, Paul Overstreet) 10. “He Talks To Me” (Mike Reid, Rory Bourke) 11. “Pirate” (Shane Keister, Alice Keister)

Never My Love was a cover of the Association's 1967 pop hit. He Talks To Me would be released in 1990 by Lorrie Morgan. (FYI, I'm assuming by the song writers)

Oh, the Sylvia album is actually rather exciting for me!!! Sylvia happens to have been born right here in my hometown, and is naturally quite a name to some here as a result. Of course, her career was not all that successful at all, but it’s still really cool to have a fellow native of this town go out there and make it to Music Row. As far as I know, she remains the only person born here that has gone to Nashville in such a capacity. It’ll be rather exciting to hear this album!

Any tracklisting for Little Big Town yet? They have only had eight or nine Top 10s. So, I would hope those are all at least included.

So Luke Combs is the artist that had Carly Pearce moved her release date up by a week for! Mystery solved at last, lol.
Also for LBT, so excited to hear the new version of "Shut Up Train"! I love Kelsea and that's one of my fave non-singles from LBT's catalog. I'd love for it to be some sort of double-sided project where we get like 10-12 of their biggest hits and then a second CD of like 10-12 reimagined album cuts with special guests like Kelsea. Curious to see what the tracklist ends up being, because it would feel rather anti-climactic if a new version of "Shut Up Train" is the single anomaly on the project, lol.

My queer radar is going off with “Whoever You Turn Out to Be” off of next week’s new Luke Combs album. I REALLY hope he’s gonna be singing to his son that he’d love him regardless of who he decides to bring home later on down the road. It would be such a major moment, as Luke hasn’t ever touched the subject before (naturally) and he’s one of the biggest names in country music of the last ten years. People might be big mad, but maybe he’d bring in a boatload of new fans in their place. I’m not gonna hold my breath or anything, but it’d be really, really nice. For that song along, I anticipate this album. Also…this man loves his June releases, lmao. This marks 3 out of 5 albums he’s released in this month

I wonder if that is the original artwork for the Sylvia CD had RCA released it in 1986. kallie is correct that Sylvia's eight year tenure ended in 1987 with a greatest hits album. Straight From My Heart was released from that album and it became her final chart appearance that year when it peaked at #66. Never My Love as nuggie99 mentioned is on that album. Getting back to Knockin' Around the album, Nothin' Ventured, Nothin' Gained was the lead single and it peaked at #33 in 1986 (her final top 40 hit). I have that song, plus Knockin' Around, Blame It On Love, and Turn My Heart Away on the Anthology album. I also have the Greatest Hits album as well. This was the last time Sylvia made a major dent on the charts. Ready?: BILLBOARD #31 - #40 FOR WEEK ENDING AUGUST 16, 1986: 31. It'll Be Me-Exile-Epic 32. On The Other Hand-Randy Travis-Warner Brothers 33. NOTHIN' VENTURED, NOTHIN' GAINED-SYLVIA-RCA 34. Honeycomb-Gary Morris-Warner Bros. 35. I Wanna Hear It From Your Lips-Louise Mandrell-RCA 36. Too Many Times-Earl Thomas Conley and Anita Pointer-RCA 37. You Can't Stop Love-Schuyler, Knoblock & Overstreet (S-K-O)-MTM 38. Doo-Wah Days-Mickey Gilley-Epic 39. Old Violin-Johnny Paycheck-Mercury 40. Since I Found You-Sweethearts of the Rodeo-Columbia

On her Facebook page, she mentions the artwork is from a tour book she had out at the time. The original album artwork was lost. On the "Nothin'" 45, it says the song is from the album "Nothin' Ventured Nothin' Gained." I never heard the "Knockin' Around" title until "Anthology" was released. I always wondered whether "Never My Love" was released as a single. Per 45cat.com, there was a promo released: www.45cat.com/record/50457raaBut, despite her career downturn, I can't imagine this would have not at least reached the then 100 position Country Singles chart.

Well there goes my hopes of there being more to this GH collection, though I am excited to see that "Little White Church" also got a revamp with Miranda Lambert. My fave LBT song featuring one of my fave singers? Yes please! 😍
