I mean, Fearless was #4 on the GOAT chart, but Fearless TV debuted with half the units of Red TV and 1/5 of 1989 TV?! WTF. Is it just because Fearless is one of her oldest albums?! Then debut TV probably won't even debut with 100k.

^I don't think you can project debuts that way. Fearless TV was the first TV to be released and debuted with 179k pure sales first week, followed by Red TV's 369k, Speak Now TV's 507k and 1989 TV's 1.359 million. Given that many of her more recent fans probably aren't familiar with her debut album, the least I would expect is for it to match Fearless TV's first week. I'm pretty sure it will be much more given how much more hype Taylor has going for her.

^Taylor Swift's best selling albums in PURE sales in USA as of Jan 11 (Luminate/Soundscan) 1. Fearless — 7,285,000 2. 1989 — 6,472,000 3. Taylor Swift — 5,871,000 4. Speak Now — 4,817,000 5. Red — 4,582,000 6. Midnights — 2,814,000 7. reputation — 2,478,000 8. folklore — 2,289,000 9. 1989 TV — 2,014,000 NIce to see. Massive true sales for this era. I have to say I am surprised that Red is below the debut and Speak Now. Red felt much bigger than either to me. No real shock to see Fearless on top, even though I think 1989 is her landmark album and certainly feels like her biggest album by some margin. But I guess country albums can sell by the millions without anyone outside of the core country market taking any notice of it. A shame that Lover is below 2 million. Has to be her most underrated album, to me it's a top 2 TS album (with 1989). Physical sales were on a rapid decline year-to-year until recently, so it's not too surprising.
