I finally heard this on KIIS this morning. It's not the edit with Lily's verse missing discussed earlier. Instead it has all the verses, albeit with lots of stuff blanked out. It's also quite sped up, almost annoyingly so. It's not fast enough to sound like a remix, but fast enough that you notice right away it was deliberately sped up - very much in uncanny valley territory. Maybe I'd like it if I'd never heard the original, but I much prefer the slower, original version to listen to on my own. I do think this is the sound people were missing from The Weeknd in the last few years and I think it has a good chance at longevity.

The chart is way too competitive right now. If this slows down, at least it sets up The Weeknd's upcoming lead single nicely. "Take My Breath" was overshadowed by his recurrents and features, so it'll be nice to clear the field this time. That's the silver lining if this stalls soon.

I like this track but I really hope it stalls, I think Abel will benefit heavily if he has no current singles being played on pop radio when he drops his lead. Instead of last time when he plunked his lead single right into the After Hours singles that were still in heavy rotation.
