kamala 2024 truther CLOCKED. And that's all I have to say about that. Y'all. My memory is way too foggy, did "Anti-Hero" the song and the video drop release day along with the album?

Hopefully she releases 40 different variants with secret songs at places like Kroger, Wal-Mart, Krispy Kreme, McDonald's, etc Maybe she'll stagger the announcements for each varient again so everyone can repeat the same argument again and again and again!? Anyway, I'm sure the live album (and its varients) are eminent. While I've seen plenty of clips of the concert, I'm still on the fence about watching the movie before my show in August. Taylor continues to serve music. Can you imagine if she decided to put music on back burner and focus on, say, a clothing line? If she released a line of her *greatest* clothing styles and Era outfits, she'd probably be cleaning up like RiRi! Some people would be upset because those thigh high boots, skirts and tops come in six different color *variants* and part of the line would be exclusive to Target. Not to overstep my boundaries and backseat moderate……but this was all highly unnecessary and you should be ashamed at this high school ass mentality and blatant attempt to derail the thread (which I will admit I might be guilty of for even deigning to take the bait). We addressed valid points and your counter-arguments were heard, and there was no need to bring it up unprovoked as everyone had finally moved on. Do better.
Anyways, to try and keep it all on topic, I’d be so down for an Eras Tour-themed Target (Taylor’s Version) moment. I’d snatch up as much of the merch as I possibly could. And yes, an Eras Tour live album would be awesome to have…I have to wonder how she’d go about the physical formats though, especially the vinyl. I really don't care either way about the argument was actually just making a light joke about the matter 🤷🏽♂️

Once the Taylor’s Versions are over, she should absolutely release an Eras Tour album that includes every surprise song... so basically her entire discography and then some. It would never leave the Top 10. That would sabotage the chart runs of all her albums through and cause them to leave the chart. Weeknd's greatest hit collection as a been a mess for that reason. It's better to have all of her studio albums except debut chart instead of just having one. Not the same situation. The Era Tour Version would be 'live' versions and treated as 'new' tracks. It's not the same as a Greatest Hits like The Weekend's 'The Highlights' or Post's 'Diamond Collection,' and every other GH collection that uses the original album tracks. In those cases tracks only be counted once for B200 and they are credited to the highest selling album based on physical sales - the rules are messy. Unless Taylor releases a true GH collection with the Lover-Midnights + TV's tracks on it, those albums will continue to chart. I am surprised that the owner of the OG versions hasn't released a GH. It'd be a huge seller and could at least milk out some value, especially after Rep (TV) is released. I'm not advocating for this - but it's not called show *business* for nothing.

It'll just be a 6-vinyl set like Madonna's Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones

Who needs mods?! I actually took it as lighthearted and joking, but...all's well that ends well! Viva La Capitalism! I am pumped for this new album, y'all!

Don't give her any ideas... I can see her releasing a standard Eras tour live album and then like four extra collections of every surprise song divided by dress color😭

I mean, yeah, that most likely will happen because 1) she is a business woman 2) people will buy it

Why is this so good? YouTube has served me lukewarm fan remixes, AI vocal substitutions, and mashups the last couple months, but THIS is something fresh and actually good. Willow really works with bigger production - I think the Elvira remix is better than the OG song.

Was speaking with a friend and had a pretty long discussion (where we disagreed), but what do you think Taylor's biggest era is and her top 5. Based on sales, hits, acclaim, impact, and tour.
1). 1989 2). Midnights 3). Fearless 4). Red 5). Folklore

Folklore Midnights is #1 and while 1989 was huge, this era has linked her to Michael Jackson, The Beatles and Elvis.

This is tricky because Midnights era was really the Eras Era and Cruel Summer is its own era separate from Lover lol.
If I thought of it as 2 year cycles instead of strictly album cycles, I'd say:
1. 2022 - 2024 (Just complete and utter world domination) 2. 2014 - 2016 (The 1989 era) 3. 2008 - 2010 (The Fearless era) 4. 2010 - 2012 (The Red era, plus the Hunger Games songs) 5. 2019 - 2021 (For as messy as Lover was, folklore + evermore + ATW10 salvaged this era)

1. Midnights (world domination, and as much as we want to call it the “eras era,” I don’t think it goes down like it did without Midnights being the catalyst.)
2. 1989 (changed the trajectory of her career, first round of world domination)
3. Folklore (changed the trajectory of her career, again)
4. Fearless
5. Red

If we're talking a specific era focused on one album, set of singles and tour, it's 1989.
Her position right now can be attributed to multiple things; Midnights, the re-recordings, the Eras tour (basically a Greatest Hits moment), the resurgence of Cruel Summer. She's bigger than she's ever been, but I wouldn't call it the 'Midnights' era.

Pre-Sale at iTunes shows April *21* as the release date. Could they have accidentally tipped the Deluxe release date? Odd because it's been that way for more than 24 hours.

New idea - before we hear anything official, if you had to predict the singles for TTPD, what do you think they'll be?
1. Fortnight (not explicit so it's easy to service to radio, Post Malone being a known hitmaker, and the opening track which always has a big first week on streaming) 2. Down Bad (this just feels like it could be a summer hit) 3. But Daddy I Love Him (I could see this having a huge first week and going viral) 4. loml (something about this feels safe and less polarizing compared with So Long London)
Assuming each gets 20 or so weeks in the spotlight, that brings us to November 2025. I can't see this having 5 singles unless everything is a #1 a la 1989.

When Apple updates the release date to a Sunday in every store, it means that it's going to be a global release at midnight EST. That said, the album is still going to be released on April 19 at midnight EST wherever you are and it's not going to be out before due to time zones.

"I Can Do It With A Broken Heart"

This is fun! Who knows what any of these songs actually sounds like. Taking big leaps based on titles is interesting though.
1. Fortnight (seems like the most obvious choice with track placement and the Post Malone feature).
2. So Long, London (I think this could be quite buzz worthy, maybe even a little ATW moment as a track 5)
3. But Daddy I Love Him (sounds like a pop banger)
4. The Tortured Poets Department (her track 2’s have a high likelihood of becoming a single, title tracks as well)
Who knows if we get four singles though. I fully expect us to move on to another TV by the end of the year because that’s just her pace now.

Obviously, with Taylor, I pay far more attention to those details. Only 30 days and 3 hours and 50 minutes to go!

It is definitely a highlight on Evermore for me, though it seems to be criminally underrated and glossed over for most. I've loved it from jump. Gorgeous tribute.

The special edition TTPD vinyls are back on her website for the next 72 hours “while supplies last” 😜

I know I said I wasn’t gonna pre-order the vinyl from Target but I had a Target Circle coupon for $10 off $50 so after adding some miscellaneous groceries to my cart, the vinyl will only cost me $34 + tax, with free shipping. If it arrives damaged, I can easily exchange in store at least.

Do we have any indication on vinyl sales for this album yet? I wonder if she will beat Midnights?

The Disney release of the tour, are the only differences just the additional songs? or did they change anything else? I don't really have an extra 4 hours right now to re-watch lol. I would like to see the "new" stuff though so can I just skim for now? Or is there other scenes or something elsewhere?
