The Disney release of the tour, are the only differences just the additional songs? or did they change anything else? I don't really have an extra 4 hours right now to re-watch lol. I would like to see the "new" stuff though so can I just skim for now? Or is there other scenes or something elsewhere? You can skip to the new stuff and what was inserted back into the film: 0:20:00 "The Archer" 1:14:40 "Long Live" 2:04:04 "cardigan" 2:18:40 "Wildest Dreams" 3:05:42 "I Can See You" 3:10:25 "Death By A Thousand Cuts" 3:17:55 "You Are In Love" 3:22:35 "Maroon"

The additional acoustic songs were under an "extras" tab in my Disney+, too.

Taylor is Taylor and remains shrouded in mystery, despite being the biggest star on the planet, but...listening to Hits Different again and I can't help but think this song is about Travis, even if the "timeline" doesn't match.

I don't follow? Isn't "Hits Different," about not being able to move on from a break-up?

I might need to listen again, but it sounds like she is saying she had issues with all these other guys before...until this one, which "hits different 'cuz it's you." But, yeah, what do I know, LOL.

She is actually saying she used to be able to switch out guys she dated previously and move on quickly, but that this breakup is different, and she is really struggling - getting drunk at the bar, puking in the street, her friends are trying to help and eventually stop inviting her out places. Then the entire bridge is about how she misses him. It "hits different, because it's you." It's just a good breakup song.

I feel like such a clown for rushing to order the vinyl from her website the minute it was released when the Target "Exclusive" is that very version, with The Manuscript as a bonus track. Why is that even being called Target Exclusive?? LOLOL. I will NEVER fall for this bullshit again! From now on, I am only buying Target exclusives of Taylor's albums. At least that way, I will get the album on release date as well.

I am NOT buying any “special edition” vinyls yet. I’m waiting closer to the album release to get the best ones. 🌚🌚

Then the entire bridge is about how she misses him. It "hits different, because it's you." It's just a good breakup song. Close but it's actually a relationship difficulty song not a proper breakup song. The narrator tries to end their relationship ("I washed my hands of us at the club) realizes they don't actually want to end it as shown in the chorus where the narrator repeats that she isn't able to move on since their relationship was different compared to all her previous ones. Then there is a twist in the third verse I heard your key turn in the door down the hallway Is that your key in the door? Is it okay? Is it you? Or have they come to take me away? To take me away She asking whether or not her bf is returning to her to reconcile verus her being so delusional that people have come to involuntary commit her to a mental hospital. The outro ending with the chorus after the last verse implies that yes this time it isdifferent. An so instead of moving on, the narrator and the bf have reconciled.

Her not being able to move on doesn't mean it's because they're not broken up. Usually when people say they can't move on it's because they can't get over an ex.

Yeah Hits Different is about Joe. Also Taylor threw up on the street in the UK, there’s a very funny photo of “Taylor Swift wharfed here”.

But the entire song up to that very last line is about not being able to get over someone. It’s not about not ending a relationship.

I see "Hits Different" and "You're Losing Me" as a pair that leave the story on a cliffhanger before we get TTPD songs.

I’m starting to think this is going to be pretty left-field for what anyone’s expecting. Folklore pt 2 in that regard (not the genre)? Why else would she be keeping all of the actual music and much of any details about genre or anything so close to the chest? Probably would have shadow dropped if not for wanting to drum up pre-sales for all these multiple versions.

I'm so excited to hear TTPD. I know it's gonna be epic especially considering its subject. I just know Taylor's never felt more than what she felt for Joe (at the time) and so you just know this album is gonna be everything and more!
Meanwhile I hope she doesn't put some of the album's best work on the deluxe edition as she did with Midnights ("Could've Would've Should've", "Hits Different" etc) as we need the standard itself to be immaculate!!

I know that all the reports are saying Taylor is not in the background on Beyoncé’s “Bodyguard,” but…am I insane? Because I swear on my grave that that’s her doing that “ha-ah-ah-ah.” That’s too distinct a voice to not be her, right?
(I didn’t know where else to put this, I guess it could’ve also gone to Bey’s thread, but I’m specifically talking about Taylor so it made sense here lol)

I can’t find official credits for Beyonces new album anywhere so I guess we’ll have to wait to confirm.

I too am convinced she's doing the backing vocals on Bodyguard lol. I could see them confirming it in a year or two after hype for both albums have died down. She probably didn't want to overshadow her own release (or have her involvement overshadow the existing chart run of Texas Hold 'Em).
Now... if Beyonce repays the favor and covertly does the backing vocals for loml... well then.

I believe it's been confirmed that it's not Taylor. Also, LOL @ Beyonce not being aware of Taylor's involvement.
