Acceptance definitely the runner up for me personally (several of her most overlooked in there imo). Anger is kinda a pass for me, but she left her best anger song out of there (I Did Something Bad). And WHY was Don’t Blame Me left out of denial!!! Edit: Wait… she left ALL of rep out of them didn’t she? What kind of unforgivable shade is this…. Edit edit: ohhh it’s def because she doesn’t want anyone steaming those songs before Rep TV and she has the rights again

Makes sense for her new playlists not to include the songs she doesn’t own!

she hates debut so bad, lawd Looks like nothing that doesn’t have a TV (or that she already doesn’t ‘own’) is included.

“Half moonshine, full eclipse” is unironically one of my favorite things she’s ever written……I need the poetry novel ages ago.

This has to be my favorite looking tracklist of any of her albums. Phrases like "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?" and "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived" take me back in time and remind me of classic novels or Lana Del Rey album tracks those cool sounding episode titles of a romantic period drama. I can't quite explain it better than this, I just love that many of these combine the comedy and meme-ability of the Internet era with old-school wording. I mean "My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys" and "But Daddy I Love Him"? So hilariously cinematic.
Here's my rankings/expectations for the songs based on the titles! 1. So Long, London 2. But Daddy I Love Him 3. Who's Afraid of Little Old Me? 4. I Can Do It With a Broken Heart 5. Clara Bow 6. My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys 7. The Bolter 8. Fortnight (ft. Post Malone) 9. The Tortured Poets Department 10. The Manuscipt 11. loml 12. I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) 13. Florida!!! (ft. Florence + The Machine) 14. The Alchemy 15. The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived 16. Guilty as Sin? 17. The Albatross 18. Fresh Out the Slammer 19. Down Bad 20. The Black Dog

Some tea posted about the album from a "reliable" insider on ATRL {Spoiler} 1. "Fortnight" (featuring Post Malone) - pop like Wrapped around your finger by Post Malone; lead single
2. "The Tortured Poets Department" - soft rock like All Too Well
8. "Florida!!!" (featuring Florence and the Machine) - Florence has verse, alt pop vibes; Florence is one of the producers
10. "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?" - a sad ballad like Cornelia street. Theme is like 'tolerate it". Very relatable and sad. She blames herself for the ending of a relationship, feels left in the dark of what went wrong and how she hurt him.
11. "I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)" - felt tongue in cheek but also in denial about end of a relationship; loud, poppy and upbeat chorus like IDSB.
13. "I Can Do It with a Broken Heart" - alt-pop sound like Holy Ground / evermore

ATRL insider heard the 6 songs once in a group setting. So don't take their opinions to exactly.
Remember secret sessioners comparing IFTYE with State of Grace.

Yes but I also remember the plenty of other opinions from secret sessioners that were correct On ATRL, she seems like she is honest but also struggles to describe the sound. From her own words "Also guys my memory is patchy bc I have ADHD… 😭 and I forgot my meds today to my memory is kinda ******, but will do my best! Just so you know why I can be all over the place! Also I not super knowledgeable on music so it's hard for me to really describe the songs."
