I am very curious / excited to see first week numbers and positioning for this. My big Q's...
1) Will this capture the entire Top 10 again? Midnights registered points in the BB Top 10 ranging from 262 points (#10 - Vigilante Shit) to 517 points (#1 - Anti Hero). Based on todays chart (and assuming similar numbers to Midnights), "Like That" by Future/MB/Kendrick and "Too Sweet" by Hozier would still remain somewhere in the Top 10 ("Like That" is estimated to wrap the week at 292 points and "Too Sweet" estimated at 273). Right now, I am not thinking she will dethrone "Like That" from the Top 10 during release week, but it's not impossible. Hozier could drop some in the coming week, so theres a decent chance she will overcome that song in release week.
2) Will there be a surprise drop again the way we received "3 A.M"?
3) Will she break the internet again and have this sell over 2m first week?

LOL this "information" gives us absolutely nothing. I'm just excited for a new Taylor album so soon. I'm also glad that I'll be at Coachella when it drops, since I know the vinyl won't be delivered til the following week anyway.

I agree with those saying the track list is incredibly enticing from the names. Like put it next to Evermore or Midnights track titles and those almost look downright dull and generic. Definitely getting more Lover/Folklore titles that already have me intrigued. Which is great, since I adore both of those albums and don’t care that much for her last two.

Yes, she just keeps getting bigger. She's that monster on the hill. 2.) No. We have 20 racks already. 3.) Yes. See #1

All four editions, including the collector CDs which hadn't been brought back yet, are available again for 48 hours, lol.

I wonder which, if any, will be available through retailers? I don't pre-order and especially wouldn't do it through an artist store knowing it could take weeks/months to come through. Also, knowing my local store will carry it on release day anyway, but I'd be willing to wait a bit to buy one of the bonus track vinyls if one was being selected to be sold via local retailers. Doesn't the Target edition have one of the bonus tracks? (I know I could scroll up to find out lol) Canada doesn't have target but I think Sunrise carries Target exclusives.

Not only do retailers like Target and Amazon wind up carrying Taylor store "exclusives," they usually hit retailers on release date. I would go further and say that Target sometimes even carries ACTUAL exclusives cooler than the ones in Taylor's online store. Exhibit A: reputation. Exhibit B: Lover.

Were the folklore variants ever available in-store? I think those ones were genuinely limited exclusives.
Since then, though, yeah, they've usually been available at retailers. The 1989 TV variants were indie store exclusives + Target had their own variant with a bonus track. Midnights variants were available everywhere.

The only one of the alt covers for folklore that popped up at Target was “meet me behind the mall” which was billed as the Target exclusive, on a red vinyl instead of the gray vinyl that that edition contained on her store. Trust, I would’ve known otherwise and reacted accordingly!

Are all four versions available on CD? I would buy them bu only if I can get all four. I can't seem to find all four. Someone help?
Edit: Nevermind, I got one on Target ("The Manuscript") and the remaining three on the website.

Wow, that Tik Tok move is insanely savvy. TTPD's hit single chances just doubled.

Cowboy Carter: Am I a joke to you??? Lol, but yeah good on these elder millennial pop stars for holding it down with songs that aren’t exclusively 1950s length.

I see a lot of comments who praise the shorter song lengths that a lot of songs have these days and how that's how music was in the 50s and 60s. And here I am thinking... shouldn't we be moving forward and not going back to the middle of last century? Lol. I am glad Taylor is giving us proper album lengths.

Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the more gen Z aimed artists like Ariana and Olivia are pressured by the labels to keep the songs appropriate “gen z length”, whereas these older artists don’t get hit by those demands as much since the labels know lots of their audience is older.

I didn't follow closely to the UMG / TikTok situation -- I just assumed this would have been a small blip and then resolved, so a bit shocked it's still going on. This is actually a blow to UMG in regards to Taylor Swift, because Taylor was likely their biggest negotiating card in a new deal with TikTok to bring the music back to the platform -- so the fact she is exempt from this situation is great for her, but likely a thorn in UMG's side.
Anyways, incredible business management as usual by her team.

Although I don't have one, TikTok is such a gateway to younger fans and making songs go viral. She ain't playing any games.

I think all of the “But Daddy I Love Him” potential single speculation has sufficiently been quashed with that run time. Could be a “it’s more like 2 songs in one” or extended outro situation though I suppose, where a radio edit would be easy.
