With all the talks about how this compares to Anti-Hero chart-wise, this is still outstreaming AH at the same point in their chart runs. Globally, at least. So it’s not like this is a huge decline from AH.

Without knowing the exact numbers, I do have to point out competition and raw numbers are much higher right now. Streamers seem to have grown their userbases substantially since Anti Hero.

(Also Fortnight is doing much worse on radio and sales).

ICDIWABH, Down Bad, Guilty As Sin?, and WAOLOM are all also doing better than Lavender Haze on streaming even without LH’s radio support.

I think because of its placement on the album, I didn’t really give Fortnight a lot of attention because there were other songs I just liked better. I wonder if this had been, oh idk, track 4 or 8 or something, whether I’d have seen it as more of a highlight than I do. That said, in recent weeks, I’ve paid more focus to the ambiant sounds and textures in the background and I really like them. Especially during the second verse. I find them really nice (and they actually remind me of sounds in a song I made about 10 years ago lmao).

Taylor Swift’s signature number – 13 – matches her latest total of No. 1s on Billboard’s Adult Pop Airplay chart. She scores her 13th leader on the list as “Fortnight,” featuring Post Malone, ascends to the top of the June 22-dated ranking.

Swift boasts the most Adult Pop Airplay No. 1s among soloists. Overall, she trails only Maroon 5, with 15. P!nk ranks third among all acts with 10 leaders.

(The Adult Pop Airplay chart, which began in Billboard’s pages in March 1996, ranks songs by weekly plays on 80 adult top 40 radio stations monitored by Mediabase, with data provided to Billboard by Luminate.)
