Hey guys long time no see.

Anywho I come to you guys because I know you are fanatics who listen to songs probably as much as I do.

So.. with this song has anyone noticed over the last few weeks a severe increase in the harmonisations and increase in the overall loudness which has basically drowned out the beautiful voice of Madison Beer? There is now so much additional harmonies you can scarcely hear the original melody over layered vocals and vocoder etc. also the melody to the “taste the crush” changed all of a sudden at the second appearance of the chorus. It now goes up a note rather than descending like it did before and still does earlier in the song.

I’m hoping someone observant will confirm this because… I have synesthesia where I feel music and due to being a medium in recent times… there has been an element of supernatural or paranormal phenomenon at play especially in regards to this song and basically every single one in my groundbreaking therapy playlist.

I know this is a long post but we need to get to the bottom of this, they have been sneakily lifting harmonies I came up with singing to myself during my therapy and changing the output of the songs in ways I will go into only after people confirm what I have written.

Please tell me people are super observant I wouldn’t be surprised if someone commented about the sounds of songs changing in the last couple months in subtle ways… if so please link me to the thread or discussion.

Yes. She deserved to finally crack the Hot 100. But, y'know... radio gatekeepers can't let songs without streaming thrive because apparently they're undeserving. And six month-or-older hits that already got their time at the top are more important.

okay i'll preface this by saying that i think this song is pretty good overall (if not fairly repetitive -- it's one of the few modern pop songs that could actually benefit from being shorter)

however, let's not pretend that radio wasn't EXTREMELY kind to this. like this going top 10 on the format without cracking the hot 100 is genuinely wild, i remember when the record for highest charting chr song to not make the hot 100 was like. #21 or something (which iirc was actually a different madison beer song lmao). it's one thing to be like "ugh i can't believe people aren't streaming this" or "ugh i wish they pushed this earlier when it had a bit of tik tok traction" but for folks saying "ugh i can't believe radio is dropping this but keeping these other, older* songs",,,, there's a reason why. it's because people actually like them 

*i checked and this is actually the second oldest song in the top 10, with the oldest only having a lil over a month on it
