correct me if i'm wrong but that's largely due to country radio relying even more on radio politics then most other formats no ? same reason zach bryan's singles struggled there too (though they didn't do much better on pop either)

Country songs take 40-70 (yes, 70) weeks to peak. This is actually doing quite well for that chart to already be #36

because it isn't being treated as a country crossover -- it's being treated as a rising hit with great streaming numbers that just so happens to be country (a genre pop used to be more reluctant towards but has warmed up to in the last few years, largely coinciding with the rise of country as the most popular genre in america

also fwiw it's outside of the top 30 with a smallish bullet so i wouldn't consider this "blowing up on the format" or anything
