Without a video (yet), and any push at all on HOT TO GO, fairly certain they are waiting for the “final push” on this one which will include a released music video. Give it a few weeks.

Of anything I’m baffled to why it’s not much higher on HOT AC, but then again, debut artists take some time to break through that Top 15 barrier on Hot AC which is usually make or break for a lengthy stay.

The gap is slowly closing between this and “Not Like Us” in Spotify. If radio keeps rising and the gap gets closer, a video really could hit this just at the right time to peak. Hopefully the label doesn’t mess it up. She has been talking about how she is overwhelmed by the fame lately so I also wouldn’t be surprised if she pulls the video if it exists. Hopefully not though, I am so rooting for this song!!

While I expect this to eventually hit #1 (and for Chappell to hopefully get more radio hits, she's got at least 3 good options already on the charts) this song's slow climb is just another example of radio's dying relevance. It only just overtook 'Beautiful Things' which went to #1 back in April, and this song was already in the top 5 on US Spotify when BT hit that peak. Of course radio can't be responsible for making songs become popular anymore with streaming's chokehold on the industry, but pop radio could at least get on board when radio-friendly songs are smashing all around.

Right? I'm almost 40 and don't even listen to current pop music that much, and even I think CHR has gotten ridiculously slow. It's basically just Hotter AC at this point.

Still glad to see a good song by an LGBT artist with an '80s alternative vibe succeeding though.
