They should pivot to Lifetimes. It doesnβt exactly sound βinβ right now but itβs a much better choice than WW. While WW is about to (or already did) fall off the charts, I can see Lifetimes having a bit more longevity. At least until the album drops in September. It might not be a big hit but at least sheβll hopefully have something charting.

The gay campground I go to is definitely trying to make Woman's World happen. I heard it at least 5 times this weekend. I didn't notice too much reaction to it either positive or negative. The Woods? Or Hillside? |

It'll be a huge win for her if one of the songs becomes a hit in Europe, dance music is always one of the main genres, especially during the summer. |

Jury's out on 'Hot Uptown' to be fair, that's still trucking for the moment. Also I don't understand the point about this outdoing 'J Christ' because we knew this. We did that comparison already.

Yes a really clever move to start hype for a new album by making a song everyone hates and thereby risking everyone not tuning in for the next song and likely not listening to the album as a whole. |

Lifelines I think will be pretty big. the general public does not care about dr luke, they just didn't connect with this song. Once we get past the old, foolish, silly, dr luke complaints, we will be fine

People keep talking about the general public not caring but they also said that about womanβs world and here we are, round 2, and doing almost all the same things again. The GP might not care about Luke, but I donβt think they care about Katy either. The people outside her own stand who would have cared were lost with the continued Luke association. Even if the Luke thing isnβt as big a deal the way some keep insisting, it has dominated the conversation around Katy enough that I think it negatively impacted her rollout and return. And maybe it would have been fine but I donβt think Katy did enough to appease the people she could have won over with this era before she started it in the first place.

Yeah, I don't think many people would assume Katy is that "old". Hopefully lifelines can save the era and be a literal life line.
