amazing numbers for Gracie and Chappell rising and reaching new peak every week
that guy Morgan gets trashed by music critics yet so successful... the solo nickelback I guess

The fact that Chappell's album is smashing this hard on its own... if she re-releases with GLB added to the tracklist, it's over.

This is a major success for Gracie Abrams! For perspective, her first album only a year and a half ago debuted at number #52. All this while never having a real viral hit (unless you wanna call Close to You that), these are very strong numbers for her.

Would be really special if Taylor could secure 13 weeks. She would tie the record and land at her favorite number. Any major threats in the next 3 weeks?

I’m sure her dad being a Hollywood titan worth $300m and her being Taylor’s personal pet project didn’t hurt.

Will it be one day in the next tracking week? Or will it all be in the tracking week that starts 07/05. His last album sold 200k opening week (he’s actually like Taylor in that he’s constantly writing and releasing, except more so)

^The next tracking week will end on 7/4, so the first day's activity for the album would count towards that.

Looks like Chappell will be top 5 soonish after 9 months.
Taylor did it in her 15th month for her debut. 19 took almost 4 years, getting there after 21 won AOTY.
Taylor would be a better comparison, since there's no Grammy boost and no sophomore-album-megasmash boost.

Does Taylor have any variants that sold but haven’t been shipped yet? I feel like they were sitting on them but some of the articles sounds like the totals reflect the variant boost
If Taylor is truly going for the record, she’ll release TTPD Anthology on physicals and could easily secure another 5 weeks from those.

Now that “13” weeks aka the record is in reach I can’t imagine she isn’t going to really go for it more than normal.

The acoustic physicals are most likely not gonna be a big boost in numbers, maybe 10-20k, but most certainly not enough to fend off Bryan or Eminem. Maybe months later when they eventually become close then it could make the difference, but 11 should be the number for TTPD in the foreseeable future. However, If disc 2 vinyls and CDs are released around Xmas (where she always receives giant boosts in sales, and usually don’t have new releases), then I think that would be a window to get TTPD into 16+ territory.

His first day streams will all be in next weeks tracking, as would (presumably) any pre-orders. So will his one day streams be enough to de throne Taylor? And if not, will his days 2-8 be enough? Also keep in mind his physical products aren’t shipping till the fall. It will be another long album though (the Lp is a double).

Typically, the 1st week SEA of a new album would be 4x of its 1st day numbers, and withTTPD doing around 100k still, you would have to believe Bryan’s new album would be doing around 400k for him to have a shot the next tracking week

If that's the case, it will take a lot for him to debut #1, especially since Swift will be sure to manipulate.

He announced there will be 16 tracks and a poem (I assume that'll just be a 17th track) so I could see it doing slightly better than his album now that he has more momentum. Maybe 250k this time around with the split tracking week? I'm not sure what Taylor could do besides maybe dropping an Anthology CD with high stock. I think if she does do an Anthology vinyl she'll give that some pre-order time whereas a CD doesn't take as long to produce. He's not doing 100k in one day like someone said, that would be insane.

Taylor’s bout to drop 2 acoustic variants and 50k signed cds 🫣😁 no way she’s letting go of an opportunity to break longevity records for weeks at #1 now that she’s so close

Chappell's numbers are craaaazy. I really think #1 is in her future. All of the songs are reaching new audiences every day. Would be pretty fun/nny if she ends up being the one to end Taylor's streak and not one of the obvious threats she's put down.
