Breaks the Madison Beer curse! Now no one can complain that radio took it so high. Yay! It has over 21,000,000 streams. Hopefully it can out stream some of the other singles from the album, which are all in the mid 20 millions. |

Wanted to re-evaluate this song. And it's still good. Honestly a really fun song.
Why Meghan leans more into the doo-wop style and not this one confuses me

I think that’s going to be it. The freeze will kill this off.
So proud of Meghan though for getting this ten years into her career. People forget just how few pop stars, even incredibly successful ones, can say they got a song (especially a solo one) near the top 10 of pop radio ten years after they debuted.
There are some pop music icons who I don’t even think have done that.

Tbf I don't think there's been much promo for this outside of being the Perfect Couple intro song and a brief moment of TikTok virality at first. However, with Perfect Couple being a limited series with just 6 episodes released together, there's not much time for the song to build. I feel like she spent all her performance slots and promotion with the prior singles. |
