SO excited for this. Wish it wasn't so exclusively a love song, as that's not my jam. But for a male-female duet and the two voices, it makes sense.

Carrie is and has been my favorite country artist for a long time and Cody has joined the ranks over the past few years, so I can wait to hear some of their back and forth and harmonies.

ICYMI, the PR article says this song is from Cody Johnson’s soon-to-be-announced album expected out later this fall. It remains to be seen whether it's the deluxe of Leather or a separate album.

Since Cody is with Warner wonder if this song will be strictly Warner or if capital will promote it also with radio. This song is going to be huge it should be another number 1 for both parties. If so I wonder if Carrie would have a single ready in the wings to send to radio if that does happen.

Ideally she's been working on an album since the D&R tour ended (spring of 2023.) Because outside of Vegas and some festivals she's been pretty under the radar.

Would be smart to go right into a lead single for her next era sometime in the spring when this peaks. She's starting to build some needed anticipation with this new duet, as well as her Idol hosting gig; really hope her and her team don't let that go to waste.

This is very good, but I do have to admit my hopes were higher from the clips than I feel after hearing the whole song. Like it had potential to be even better. But, it’s still really good.
