This was my first time hearing the original version of '(I) Get Lost' (I was aware of the dance remixes by David Morales and Kevin Yost) and I... kinda get it? His low placement is totally expected (I wish his other song was out first though) but the Metro-meets-Todd Terry sound worked for me on that song.

Steal My Kisses has a pretty slick little bass riff if nothing else. Honestly a little surprised it's at #100, but not complaining

At least Workin' It is better than the Henley song in Maseruck's defunct 2000 MSR extras rankdown

Good to See You was pretty unremarkable, but I did like the other Neil Young here song a lot more, so I hope that goes at least a little farther than a Neil song usually does in retro AAA

Yeah I figured Change Your Mind would flop here. But, like, as dopey as that song is I think it's kinda charming.

Hurts to put a Steely Dan song in my bottom 10, but wtf even was Cousin Dupree (and why was it the lead single that went to #2 when Jack of Speed is RIGHT THERE)

I've always found it odd that this Warren Zevon album was bolded lol. Hopefully there are deep cuts on that album that sound better than this. Was not a fan.

How has Pat McGee Band showed up 3 times in retro AAA, and every time I see them on a list I think it's their first time. I liked Runaway more than Rebecca, I think bottom 10 is a bit rough (but it's also a pretty hard bottom 10 to call for this list)

Shawn Mullins' music is typically pretty unlikable, but I didn't mind this one so much (despite the bottom 10 placement). Unsure on if Lullaby will end up being his worst or best performance yet next time, could see it going either way

This was another list where there wasn't a really clear #100...SOMETHING had to go there. Breakin' Me is a pretty miserable listen, sure it can take last. I do like Still Rainin' and Lie to Me enough, but his AAA offerings have been pretty bad

It's not Bruce Cockburn's best, but I am a little disappointed by his AAA performances so far

Life Is Bad Is Bad, but I really like the other 2 Shelby Lynne songs we've ranked

90s techno Eric Clapton is so weird

This Keb Mo song was perfectly fine. Like, I don't think I've ever listened to a more aggressively 6/10 song

Wow! Weird start. Definitely thought I would cross out more of my bottom tank dwellers. I even preferred Ben Harper spitting into the mic more than my bottom 10.

I guess my biggest losses would be Train of course, I also recall that Sister Hazel song getting some airplay. Not to shabby, but that Shawn Mullins song is too catchy to hate.

I'm not the biggest Steely Dan fan here, so while I don't really pay attention to the lyrics from their music those were kind of hard to miss.. "Cousin Dupree" was definitely not on my sing a long list, but the music was kinda groovy, so it got some boost points.

I wanted to like Old more as kind of a goofy but charming song, but then he starts going on about Jesus for like the last 2/3 of the song. (not that Jesus is a bad topic, absolutely not, but it just comes out of nowhere).
