As long as it’s allowed to reenter if it goes recurrent, I think it’s fine to wait for the single push after the new year. It’s also possible they are planning one last push for BOAF h100 #1 in the first few weeks of the year when DWAS and ABS are likely to be somewhat weak competition. Maybe they want to wait until that.

I just don't understand why they don't send this now so this can get a head start for the post-freeze. Why not take advantage of these great streaming numbers and send it now.

It reached a new peak of #2 on Apple Music the other day, although back down to #4. They need to send to radio ASAP to start racking up those points. Could easily see this and "BIRDS OF A FEATHER" together in the top 10 on the Hot 100 in the new year. Bodes really well for her in the run up to the grammys which should hopefully give further boosts to the album!

And even without tons of efforts, it's still the year's 2nd biggest female album, with the entire album still streaming phenomenally and still in the Billboard top 5 after half a year :)

If this smashes on the level of BOAF, dare I say this might be one of the most impressive eras of singles ever? Because she basically decided to forego traditional single releases (with no pre-release one either) and has more or less just let the album do its thing. Yet we might end up with one of the most successful eras of the decades from a singles standpoint, with two mega smashes and an additional solid top ten hit. Could they mine a 4th maybe? I guess it would depend if it took off organically and on its own, since that’s how they’ve played this era. Wildly impressive tbh.

I know! Imagine if they pushed it more. I don't think it could match the sales of Taylor but it would have probably sold at least 50% by now in terms of units.

I assume you mean the True Blue part, not Born Blue? Yes, if it had been a fully realized song. As it is, I think it’s too short and incomplete feeling to be a hit even for ADD gen z.

Would be cool to see Chihiro take off, though it’s kind of hard to imagine radio heavily playing it. Needs a great edit for sure.

Still no impact date…Strange. I was thinking, I wonder if another album is coming next year?

As for future singles from this album, the only songs I could see working are “THE GREATEST” or “L’AMOUR DE MA VIE.”
