Drake has really lost the plot. All he had to do was shut up and disappear for nearly a year, then drop his comeback album. I honestly think his era of commercial domination is pretty much over now, considering most of that success came from collaborations and he hasn’t had a solo hit since Scorpion. Now everyone views him as lame and I doubt those collaborations will keep him on top. He’s probably going to follow the same commercial trajectory that both Wayne and Nicki have been on since 2017. |

Does this make Drake seem stupid? No doubt.
However, assuming there is any truth to this -- this should hopefully be helpful to the entirety of the music industry.

In the good old days (90s), the Drake/Kendrick spissy feud would've been settled differently. It's fortunate this is a battle of words (lyrics, legal filings, etc.) instead of something else.
I mean it's really hard to care about a manufactured PR beef between entitled multimillionaires. Mariah v Nicki cut deeper than this!

It's not farfetched imo. Ppl give BTS(and the "Who" song) hell for the bot streams, NLU could've had some too via the label, which he is suing.

You're missing the obvious part of the streams for "Who" which are primarily botted by fans over and over, not by the label. I really doubt "Not Like Us" has any suspicious/botted streams to be honest. |

I do think NLU had something sus going on on Spotify, but I'm pretty sure that was just the Spotify algorithm being fucky. Autoplay was really weird from ~Like That to ~Please Please Please, if I'm remembering right, and I know Not Like Us was a beneficiary of that. Given the bredth of artists affected (from superstars like Kendrick and khias like Tommy Richman), I'd bet it was coincidental rather than a conspiracy.

With shaboozey hitting possibly 20 weeks, AIWFCIY comming back every year and stacking weeks at number one, and radio boosted songs that no one actually is listening too still like lose control being top 10 staples all year is their any way that blinding light could get dethroned as the decade-end and all time leader?
