NE 08 01 Stacy's Mom Fountains Of Wayne 22 12 10 1(1) 2 In its second week on the chart, FOW zooms rising 7 to #1... it is a fab video overall... strangely, it switches places with Mya which was #1 last week! Stacy's mom has got it going on :o
Droppers:
04 Crazy In Love Beyonce f/Jay Z, peak #1[1], 14 weeks
07 Fighting Temptations Beyonce, Missy Elliott, Free & MC Lyte, peak #5, 3 weeks
09 Celebrity Brad Paisley, peak #9, 1 week
10 So Yesterday Hilary Duff, peak #8, 4 weeks
Summary:
This sure became the week of reentries & 1 new entry this week... but the big champs of the week go to Fountains Of Wayne for soaring up the Video chart of course rising up 7 spots to #1... never underestimate the power of Rachel Hunter playing herself as a hot mom to all horny teenage males everywhere ;) And Liz Phair just keeps on proving she's the indie goddess of our chart with Why Can't I? rising back up 3 spots to #2... another riser, the old veteran Sting with his very World Music influenced song & video for "Send Your Love" rising up 3 spots to #3... he also made top 10 on VH1 this week, go Sting Dido's "White Flag" falls but holds strong with it only falling 1 spot to #4 this week, Beyonce experiences a big drop with "Baby Boy" falling 3 spots to #5... Baby Boy's chart run of it's first 3 weeks; 6-2-5, in comparison to Crazy In Love: 6-2-1, also not a good week for Beyonce, as both the videos for Crazy In Love & Fighting Temptations drop off the chart, so it's not a very bouncy week And next we have a reentry from Evanescence with Going Under returning the chart at #6... both Bring Me To Life & Going Under peaked at #3 & had very weird chart runs.... sometimes they dropped off the chart & reentered(Bring Me To Life many times... spent 9 weeks on the chart, but not all in a row)... and another reentry from Celine Dion with "Have You Ever Been In Love? at #7 giving her a new peak, also spending 7 weeks on the chart... & it looks like Mya decided to switch places with Fountains Of Wayne cause My Love Is Like...Wo drops a big 7 spots to #8 :o And the final of the 3 reentries, Fabolous & Tamia's Into You reentering the chart at #9 & finally, a new entry with Coldplay's "God Put A Smile Upon Your Face" entering at #10... even though this debuts lower than "The Scientist"(which debuted at #2), can this still do as well? "The Scientist" peaked at #1 for 1 week spending 10 weeks on the chart.
