Red Hot Chili Peppers "Can't Stop"Apparently, the people at KNDD didn't know they released a followup to this, since I never heard "Dosed" there. Plus, the lack of a video sealed its fate, and it didn't make the top 40. :'( Daniel Bedingfield "Gotta Get Thru This""James Dean" came close, though. t.A.T.u. "All The Things She Said"I still haven't heard "Not Gonna Get Us" (except for a remix) Nine Days "If I Am"Was there a followup? "Good Friend" failed to chart. And we'll add this song: Dashboard Confessional - Hands DownI heard "Rapid Hope Loss" a few times on Fuse, but it wasn't that good anyway.

DJ Sammy - "Boys Of Summer""Sunlight" didn't chart, but still might. I haven't seen you post your chart in a while. Are you still doing one? :-\

Cascada spent 3 weeks atop my PC with "Everytime We Touch."
I doubt I'll chart their follow-up - whatever that may be.

Cascada spent 3 weeks atop my PC with "Everytime We Touch." I doubt I'll chart their follow-up - whatever that may be. Oh, I forgot. Missy Elliott hit #1 last year with "Lose Control." I did not chart "Teary Eyed" because the song sucked!

Hmm, I never noticed this thread until now. Breaking Benjamin - Sooner Or Later Rain did not chart. ... Hoobastank - Same Direction No chart from Disappear. Haha, I can see why you didn't chart either of the latter tunes. Both were quite unconventional of each group (well, at least, up until "The Reason"). All of the followups to my #1 songs have performed reasonably well. No Hawthorne Heights song from Silence charted after "Niki FM" hit #1, but then they released a follow-up album just a couple months after that happened, so that would explain that.

Interesting topic... one I haven't thought about in a very long time...
I do think I have one though...
Gnarls Barkley - "Crazy" - #1 for 6 weeks...
The follow up - "Gone Daddy Gone" - yet to chart... it's "bubbling under" my chart at the moment in the mid 50's... don't think it's gonna make it...
Daniel Powter's "Bad Day" almost turned the trick, but it only got to #2 on my PC... the follow up "Love You Lately" did not chart.

Daniel Powter failed to chart after the #1 hit "Bad Day." The Dixie Chicks also failed to chart after "Not Ready to Make Nice." Also... Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie" had no follow-up entry to my chart. "Illegal" is such a horrible song... It is getting nowhere near my chart.
