As promised, here are the next ten clues.
50) Second hit on the countdown for this Rhy superstar. The video for this song was appropriate for the title - it showed lots of palm trees up in flames. Usher - Burn (WannaBe DJ)
49) The rapper for this song holds the Guiness World Record for the fastest rap. It was his biggest hit. Twista f/ Kayne West & Jamie Foxx - Slow Jamz (Mega)
48) This song, the third top 10 hit for this band, is about a girl named Jane. Maroon 5 - She Will Be Loved (Mega)
47) I don't know if this previous pop fav had his mind at ease when this hit, his first release off his new album, just scraped the top 10 on pop radio. It did do slightly better on RHY. Nelly f/ Jaheim - My Place (Mega)
46) CS: Although this CHR/Rock artist had two songs chart this year, this was his only one to make my top 100. The title of the song is the same as a recent 3DD smash minus one word. Nate Sallie - Without You (EvanJ)
45) This band made a crossover last year to mainstream and this hit was their second crossover hit. It only charted on AC. MercyMe - Here With Me
44) In the video for this song, the artist is probably seen about 100 times, and multiple times in one shot. It's a song that is a leftover from 2003 on radio, but first hit my chart in 2004. Andre 3000 (of Outkast) - Hey Ya! (mst3k)
43) This song didn't receive any punishment for being released a little late. It still made the top 20 on pop radio and also the top 5 on alternative. Seether f/ Amy Lee - Broken (mst3k)
42) Another remake that was on the airwaves from Washington, DC to... the capital of Germany! Jessica Simpson - Take My Breath Away (mst3k)
41) CS: Only hit on this countdown by this Christian veteran group. The song reached #1 on Christian AC radio very late in 2003, but was there for only 1 week. The name of the group is similar to what you might call kids who pass out papers on street corners. Newsboys - You Are My King (Amazing Love) (EvanJ)

46. I don't look at the Christian charts but for a 3 Doors Down title minus one word I'll guess "Without You." 43. Finger Eleven: "One Thing"

49. Twista f/ Kanye West & Jamie Foxx- "Slow Jamz" 48. Maroon 5- "She Will Be Loved" 47. Nelly f/ Jaheim- "My Place" 45. MercyMe- "Here With Me" Those are all correct! EvanJ - you got the title right for #46. I'll supply the artist and give you the credit for it. ;) Nate Sallie - Without You! Unfortunately, though #43 is wrong. The key to the clue I gave was in the first sentence. I used certain phraseology that should clue you into the movie I am talking about.

43) Seether - Broken 42) Jessica Simpson - Take My Breath Away Great work! Both of those are correct. No one has taken a guess at #44 yet? Come on, what's cooler than answering that clue? ;)

Right group, wrong song. The song I am looking for is the followup to He Reigns.

41. Newsboys: "You Are My King (Amazing Love)" (looking at the track listing that's the title that seems most familiar)

41. Newsboys: "You Are My King (Amazing Love)" (looking at the track listing that's the title that seems most familiar) Excellent job EvanJ! That's the song I was looking for. We're now in the top 40 for 2004! 40) This pop song was the debut hit for this artist on US pop radio. The title of the song is the same as a movie starring Gwyneth Paltrow & Ben Affleck. Sarah Connor - Bounce (mst3k) 39) 2004 had a few songs that were a couple of years old that were treated as "new". This one, by a UK group, is one of those songs. The chorus of this hit happens to mention the group's followup hit, which flopped. Mis-teeq - Scandalous (mst3k) 38) CS: This group's name comes from a Superchick song from earlier this century. It's an all girl group whose first hit barely scraped the top 20 on Christian radio, but this song scored #1 on Christian pop and rock as well as hitting the Christian AC chart. Barlow Girl - Never Alone (Jeffster) 37) I think the members of this group would agree that this single, their lead off single, really fulfilled their expectations. It went top 10 on multiple radio formats. Destiny's Child - Lose My Breath36) CS: A #1 Christian rock song this year by a band who some may say is "new" but the members are just members of another well-established Christian rock band. In this song, the band tells young people that they need to battle through all the religions and rhetoric to find their own way to communicate and follow God. FM Static - Something To Believe In (Jeffster) 35) This song was the first #1 of my chart for 2004. And no, the artist is not a stalker... Clay Aiken - Invisible (Wannabe DJ) 34) This song was hanging around the pop chart for a while but only peaked at #30. However, it went top 5 on Hot AC. Counting Crows - Accidentally In Love (Wannabe DJ) 33) The Barenaked Ladies did this for the first time in 2001. Sarah McLachlan - Fallen (friday) 32) CS: Highest countdown hit for this Christian pop favorite. In this song, the singer views the troubles of a number of other people and realizes that her life could easily have been their life if for a twist of fate. Stacie Orrico - Instead (Jeffster) 31) In this song, a #1 pop hit, the song's title is actually said in reverse in the chorus - the parenthetical first, then the other word. Jojo - Leave (Get Out) (Wannabe DJ)

EDIT: Jeffster posted right before me and I never saw his answers. His answers were correct so I modified this post to reflect only the two left not guessed.
All 5 8 guesses are correct. Nice work. Here are some easier clues for the other ones.
37) In the chorus to this song, the title of a former #1 pop song is uttered by one of the members of the group.
33) The other clue was supposed to refer you to a song, but I guess that never surfaced.

32) The song is from the artist's second name, which is also titled the artist's name. You mean the artist's second album. Anyway, Jeffster beat me to it. It's Stacie Orrico's "Instead."

33) Sarah McLachlan - Fallen Great job friday! Now if only someone will guess #37. But maybe it is just too much for people. Maybe they are winded by this long guessing game.

37) Destiny's Child - Lose My Breath (whew) Nice work!!! Entering top 30 territory. I'll only post 5 clues at a time now. 30) It's something cops want their prime suspects to do when overwhelming evidence incriminates them. This artist did it into the top 10 this year. Hilary Duff - Come Clean (Mega) 29) CS: Only hit on this year's chart for this breakthrough Christian band. In the song, people are compared to flowers and waves. Casting Crowns - Who Am I? (Jeffster) 28) Another remake that made it all the way to #1 on my chart way back in the winter. The song is by a band who is headed by a rich girl. No Doubt - It's My Life (friday) 27) Think of a movie starring Harrison Ford & Michelle Pfeiffer and one scene will remind you of the video for this #1 song on my chart. Britney Spears - Everytime (mst3k) 26) Another one of those "two-year-old" new songs on pop this year. The singer (to me) sort of sounded like an artist that wasn't letting go of pop radio a couple of years ago. Kevin Lyttle - Turn Me On (friday)

All of the guesses except the one for #30 are right. Confessions pt. II was #105 for the year. But the clue does fit that song too. Of course, you would have seen it wasn't right if you had gone back, back to the beginning of the thread. ;)

30. Hilary Barf- "Come Clean" Oooh sorry. Right song title, wrong artist. That must be some remake I haven't heard yet. ;) I'll have the next set of clues up tonight.

Remember, guessing games must be completed by Friday night at 11:59pm (or the chart must be PM'd to me by that time) or it won't count for the PMB top 100 of 2004 calculations.

Let's forge ahead and try to finish by Friday night! 25) This song began its chart run in October 2003 but carried over well into 2004. The title of the song is very similar to the title of a #1 pop song in the late 1960s. Baby Bash f/ Frankie J. - Suga Suga (mst3k) 24) CS: Where's Newton when you need him? Shawn McDonald - Gravity (Jeffster) 23) This song first went to #1 on radio airwaves in early 2003, and then it went top 5 on pop radio in 2004. Switchfoot - Meant To Live (Mega) 22) It's too bad this band couldn't followup this top 10 smash hit on pop with their followup But I guess the band did figure out the rock audience because they had more #1s there this year. Nickelback - Someday (friday) 21) What a smart guy! The featured artist on this top 5 hit on my chart correctly teamed up on a song that could have earned commerical spots these current hot items! Chingy f/ J. Weav. - One Call Away (crash46)
