Why are we even comparing "Fighter" to "Toxic", i don't see anything identical about the two videos. I don't see how having moth's crawl in your hair has anything to do with making out with fat guys in an airplane bathroom. You'd be better off compaing "Toxic" to "Genie In A Bottle".

From the way the song is starting to be picked up on radio and from your responses on the video, it sounds like Britney will finally have another top10 hit. Look at how fast "Me Against The Music" rose. Britney is not guaranteed a Top 10 until she gets it on a final update.

For some reasons i just can't imagine stations playing "Toxic" 80-90 times a week. I just can't. The song will dry out really fast.

I can't believe radiosucks doesn't like the video for "Toxic," what a huge shocker! :o

Just noting that Fighter seemed like a video done just for the sake of doing a different kind of video...and it didn't go well at all.
I was stating that I think the Toxic video was very appropriate to the song.

Look at how fast "Me Against The Music" rose. Britney is not guaranteed a Top 10 until she gets it on a final update. Yeah, but that song rose so fast because of hype and the fact that Britney had been away for a long time. It was a collabo between two very big people in pop music. Toxic, by contrast, is rising on the basis of quality and the fact that it is a different kind of song. Unless you're going to say that the "wedding scam" is causing Toxic to rise fast, which I think is a stretch. I'm not saying Toxic will make the Top 10 necessarily, but I don't think Toxic should be compared to MATM. A lot of people hated MATM, but a lot of people (including a lot of non-Britney fans--not including, of course, the fans who only like Aguilera and are determined to not like Britney no matter what) like Toxic. I have no stats, so that's completely unofficial, but that's my take on it.

Well, actually, you're right. Christina looked gross in Fighter, whereas Britney looks niiiiiice in Toxic. ;) Sorry, couldn't help myself. Your ridiculous signature provoked me.

"Fighter" was done differently on purpose? I'm sorry to tell you this but in Christina's entire career, there is only one video in which she is at a club dancing around, or what you call a "typical Britney video". Beautiful-The Voice Within are all unique videos. Even her early ones like "Lady Marmalade" and "Come On Over Baby" were different. "Crazy" "I'm A Slave 4 U" "Overprotected" "Boys" and "Me Against The Music" all take places in clubs. The other videos were unique. But like "Oops", "Toxic" is a good song with a bad unique video.

I would call these "typical Britney videos": Genie In A Bottle, What A Girl Want, Come On Over. Dancing around with friends. And im sure her record company wanted her to follow the same trend. I don't care if she says now "thats not her", you can't erase the past.
"Oops" did not have a bad video. Woo was she hot, especially when laying down on that star :)

That video was terrible!! The song is starting to grow on me alittle bit......but the video is just a terrible waste of special effects.
I watched it yesterday, and when it ended all I could say was "What the fuck was that?" ???

Just saw it this morning. The storyline isn't very well done, BUT she looks freaking amazing, and anyone with half a brain can follow the plot if they try.

"Oops" did not have a bad video. Uh-huh, I especially appreciated the Titanic tribute where she said, "But I thought the old lady dropped it into the ocean at the end."

I thought the Oops video was cute at the time. A little over the top cheesy and I hated the special effects once again but eh I personally think if another artist (not mentioning names ;) ) had done the Toxic video, the same people praising the video would be screaming about how horrible it is, and the same people hating the video done by Britney would be praising it to high heavens. I watched it a few more times and I still dont see how its so great. The best part is by far how hot she looks. She looks really good. But good looks dont make a video to me...at least not with females. Adam Levine looking sexy in a video is enough to make a video great for me
