No one made a topic on this, probably because the song hasn't been decided on yet, but a song is going for adds on January 30th, and it probably is not "Bring It On". Rather it is probably the first single from their new album, which is due out sometime in the spring. Place your bets on the song name. I'm voting for "Grrr I'm f**kin Angry So Listen To My Music And I Won't Kick Your Ass Arrr".

I saw these guys on Fuse and they are some real Boston hardasses. I guess it's the attitude to support the music.
What happened between them and Story of the Year?

The first single according to them is going to be Speak and the album is going to be called Four. I can see that they're pretty much cutting to the chase as far as titles go.

I'm kind of hoping this song touches more on their Other Side EP side.

I cant wait to hear the new album. an article at MTV.com interviewing Sully was really cool. guess they're making Voodoo II. plus mixing in some Other Side sound to it. I hope the first single sounds like Bad Religion (all time fav godsmack song)

OK, I was wondering what happened to the adds date of this song (originally set for the week of January 31), because it mysteriously disappeared from AllAccess, the less credible source (according to penance). Looks like it'll impact the week of Feb. 14, if all goes according to plan.

I have to agree. Very sad, and it really does make you think.
On a side note, that's a side of Sully I wasn't sure existed. Interesting.

It's not as good as their Faceless singles, but it's still a good song.

Yeah, I have to agree its not as hard sounding as some of their previous stuff, but still damn freaking good. I'm sure this will start tearing up the charts next week after going for adds.

they didnt get a lot of success (album sells) with their heavier singles. going back to the sound of their self-titled album. it had that lil pop feeling to it that got a lot of play. I mean I dont want them to go cheesey because they're great at what you do. they just need to mix it up. hopefully this song will kick some serious ass cause that clips is great!!!

What are you talking about. I Stand Alone, Straight Out Of Line, and Realign all did great.

??? ??? Huh? Hugwhore, what makes you think they would go cheesy? And they have mixed it up. "Voodoo" was by all means a song without heavy guitars and loud screaming. "Serenity" was a light song. Their last album, The Other Side, was entirely acoustic. "Awake", "Straight Out Of Line", & "I Stand Alone" were all heavy screamers.

Isn't this the same song they've done 10 times already?
It's ok, but the only Godsmack songs I like are the ones on The Other Side.

I was quite surprised to hear this song being played on WJRR when my alarm went off this morning. It actually sort of got me motivated to go to class and not be pissed that I had a quiz to take. Godsmack can do wonders I guess :o

first, I was saying that need to do stuff like Voodoo. I love their self titled album and they need to do more array of songs like that. second I didnt follow american charts until recently. in Canada, I heared Straight Out of Line and ReAlign once in a blue moon. Serenity a couple of times and I Stand Alone never. so if they did better in the states, Im really glad to hear that. far as my radio station here, they dont really exist.

Man, and here I thought Canada ruled.
But worry not, friendly Hugwhore, the new album is supposed to have the next best thing to Voodoo........Voodoo II! Gotta love the innovation.
