I would say every rapper, butthere are those I don't mind (Jay Z, Nelly, EMinem, LL Cool J & most old school rappers), so I'll stick with those I truly detest:
Lil John Ludacris 50 Cent Petey deleted Fabolous Chingy Ja Rule
Anyone who thinks they know a lot about politics and thinks they are better than the rest of us by shoving their views down our throats in concert, when in fact they are idiots, especially:
Bruce Springsteen Dixie Chicks Linda Rondstadt Pearl Jam MXPX

Here it goes: * Live * Hoobastank * Nickelback * Staind * Bush * Silverchair * Trapt * matchbox twenty * 3 Doors Down * Saliva (their post-grunge period) * Breaking Benjamin * Orgy * Puddle Of Mudd I guess most of this post-post-post-grunge-FM-lite crap makes me sick to my stomach. .....

I think the only one mentioned that I totally disagree on is the Smashing Pumpkins. After looking at this topic, I take that back. I posted when I forgot about irice22's post, and seeing APC, but I still love the topic. Where's Corporate American to join this topic?

I'm not trying to start an online wars with any lambs, but Xtina just picks my *ss. I find her so phony and full of herself, I just can't even express it in words. Needless to say, I'm delighted her last 2 singles have bombed, for all intents and purposes.

Needless to say, I'm delighted her last 2 singles have bombed, for all intents and purposes. I like Xtina and am not rooting for her to fail. Right now there are too many females on the charts and half assed efforts like Xtinas last 2 singles won't cut it. Stefani, Clarkson, and others are gonna make Xtinas life much harder at Pop. Its not a bad time to build on her latino fame while writing a killer follow up to "Stripped".

Usher (even though I liked "Yeah!") Good Charlotte
Also Amy Lee, though I haven't seen much of her lately.
I would say a lot of artists come off as overly pretentious or just plain annoying, but those 3 are the biggest offenders I can think of right now.

I've only heard 2 of her songs with any regularity ("Breakaway" isn't one of them; I still haven't heard it at all), but it's bothersome how Kelly Clarkson is still musically relevant. God, we needed a ridiculous jump from that Nelly song just to keep her out of #1.
It ain't cool seeing a 4-song stretch on the pop chart consisting of 2 songs each by Jojo and Ashley Simpson, so they can join the list too.

RadioheadI hate artsy music. I can't let this slide. Why in particular do you hate "artsy" music? Especially when music is for the most part, considered an art? Have you heard any Radiohead before they released OK Computer? deleted Honey wasn't artsy, period. Also, I just don't see how people find the Smashing Pumpkins or A Perfect Circle grating to the nerves. Could just be me though.

I don't recall a time when I heard Billy Corgan or anyone else in the band go on about politics.
The only link to the Smashing Pumpkins that A Perfect Circle have is that James Iha has played guitar for their live show, and I believe the ranting is mainly Maynard James Keenan.
In other words, any ranting you'd hear at an A Perfect Circle show, you'll hear at a Tool show.

Maybe by "artsy" he was talking about music that is noncommercial just for the sake of being noncommercial. I don't dislike Radiohead, but a lot of their songs I can't listen to for more than 2 minutes. They don't get on my nerves, though.

Kelly will still be #1 on the R&R chart that comes out tomorrow. Why? The final update (at 3:46 AM Pacific) had Nelly at #1 by over 100 plays. Was there another update between midnight and 3:46? They never do that. Well, maybe it's for the same reason that I used to not like the Smashing Pumpkins which would be that Billy Corgan sounds like a duck. Who knows.

The final update was at 8:57 PM Pacific Standard Time. This was the first update on which "If I Ain't Got You" was considered a recurrent. Also, the "LW" spin and position totals matched up with the "TW" spin and position totals for last week. Nelly was #9 last week, and on the first update at which he was #1, the "LW" column read "8".

This is such a loaded question! :o Where do I start? ??? I would have to say the [glow=blue,2,300]NUMBER ONE[/glow]artist who gets on my nerves is BRITNEY SPEARS!! She is a true studio artist...it takes a loooot of tweaking to master her sound! ;) Her sex appeal helped her career tremendously!! Some other artists who irk me are: ALL actresses/actors turned singers (J. Lo, Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, etc.) Younger/older siblings of artists or actresses/actors turned singers - i.e. Solange Knowles; Hilary and Halie Duff's duet Crime Mobb - That new song is horrendous!! :o ("Stilletos...pumps...in the club." What is that??) Lil Jon - Can you expand your vocabulary beyond those three words: WHAT?! YEAH!! OKAY!! "American Idol" contestants Kelly Clarkson and Diana DeGarmo - they don't sing, they SCREAM!! :o Whoever sings that garbage song about white tees!! Ashlee Simpson - SNL and RMA performances...a pure mess! Mariah Carey - she fell off after "Butterfly" Ciara - both her singing and her dancing are TIRED!! Lloyd - *see comments for Ciara* ;); his singing voice irks me!! Kanye West - crazy producer...crappy rapper!! :'( Brandy - except for her debut album and the album with "Angel in Disguise" on it Cam'ron - his raps are soooo remedial! Ashanti - can't sing...can't dance...and still with the Inc. Why? SOLO Beyonce - such an overachiever even when she's BY HERSELF!! There are more people, but these are all of the artists I can think of for now! :)

Well I hope you're wrong but you probably aren't. Isn't this garbage. Smelly garbage is obviously subjective too. To me Nelly/Tims "gimmick" has the distinct aroma of a half full dumpster. "Breakaway" is an innocent, honest inspiring, "feel good" song a million miles from the nearest dumpster or landfill.

Simple Plan, Good Charlotte and other such junk rock bands
Ludacris, Ja Rule, Jay-Z, Nelly, 50 Cent, Cameron and other such unimaginative no talent rappers
Ashlee Simpson and other such wannabe "attitude" singers.
Any artist that has nothing better to do than stale covers.
Having said all this, I keep a fairly open mind about singers, because just when I think they're hopeless, they'll come out with something decent, like a couple songs this year by Britney Spears and Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway", etc.

I can see how Billy Corgan's voice can bother people, but the Smashing Pumpkins' music is quite impressive.
Probably the most creative and imaginative CD I've heard over the past year or two was put out by A Perfect Circle. It's likely that some are unable to fully appreciate it, or maybe it gives some people nightmares, as it is kind of spooky, but I like that kind of music.

Let me just make this clear that all actress that turned to singer annoyed me BADLY. ( J-Lo, Hilary duff, ect...) Jojo Usher<< over played example. Beyonce<< except when she with Destiny's child Hoobastank<< They can't sing live for god sake. Listen to them at the VMA was a torture. Chingy<< his voice jus really annoying and so does his new song..Balla baby.
