This is the third single from Make Believe according to the band. It's my favorite song on the album, so I'm glad about this especially after I was disappointed with their decision to release "We Are All On Drugs". I would have basically been fine with this or "Perfect Situation".

Oh crap. I thought this was an oldie after hearing this like 30 times on Sirius. I like it more than "Beverly Hills", but I haven't decided if I like it more than "We Are All On Drugs".

This is one of the best single releases of the year. I absolutely love it.

Finally, they release one of the songs that's up to par with classic Weezer. My favorite on the album.

I wouldn't call Top 10 on Alternative a "flop", especially considering the vastly superior "Island in the Sun" never got there.

Ugh. I hate this song. I wish they'd release Perfect Situation.

Cant wait to hear it-I was disappointed with this era at first, but the first two singles grew on me.

Wow... this really surprised me based on how the last two singles sounded. Does this remind anyone else of a very 80s The Cure sound? I love it.

This is the best song on the album. Glad to see it released. This should do a little something on pop too I would think.

Thankfully, they released this song. This will give them a wider target group of consumers than those who bought the album based only on Beverly Hills and We Are All on Drugs.

I like this. All I'm wondering is how did a Killers song get on the Weezer CD?

It is definitely 80's inspired, but I don't think it sounds like the Killers. Sure, the production is extremely clean, but the lyrics and the way Rivers sings the track is very Weezer. I REALLY hope they do an acoustic version of this song for the single.

Even though it's an unabashed Cars tribute, this may be their best single since the Pinkerton era. That is, if they're smart enough to release it as a single. If Perfect Situation flops at radio, it might not happen, and that would be a damn shame.

With Perfect Situation going to #1 on Alternative, do you think that TISAP will get an adds date? I think this can go #1 as well with or w\o a video. Honestly, the best Weezer track this decade, and perhaps one of the best Alternative tracks this decade.

Just a little. But it's still an awesome song. I think this could become a Pop hit.

The album mostly sucks, and this is the best thing on it. It's overrated for a reason.

I'm glad this is seeing a release. It should have been released second after "Beverly Hills" instead of "We Are All On Drugs", or even third. Even though it's a fourth single, it'll be coming off a #1 song in "Perfect Situation" so this should perform just fine.

I think that this is so different from Weezer, or anything else right now, that this will perform amazing regardless of who it is and being a fourth single. I think this could be #1 for the year on alternative.

Yes! Once I heard this for the first time on Sirius' Alt Nation a couple months ago, I was cursing the fact that it wasn't officially released. It easily outpaces the other three singles, and it was the only one to reflect favorably on me on first impression. I just love that quasi-new wave sound it has since I'm just a sucker for that type of music. I'd love to see them finally get a #1 from this album that I truly respect, but at the same time, I would be surprised if this gets a "Jesus of Suburbia"-type of screwjob.
Interestingly, I heard this song at Big 5 (a Northwest sporting goods chain a la The Sports Authority) last weekend. It totally caught me by surprise that such a song (especially one that isn't a single yet) would get played as background music in a store. Then again, I've heard "What If" by Coldplay at the nearby Taco Bell, which I can never figure out.

I really think this will be huge. And while at first I was annoyed that "Perfect Situation" took the spot of the third single, I think its huge popularity will help propel this along.

I've shared my feelings on this song more than enough but since I got my wish with Perfect Situation being the third single, it'd be unfair for people not to get this song for the fourth, and actually it might be a nice way to close out the whole Make Believe era.
I dunno, I was originally hostile toward this song since it sounded so unlike what I usually expect from Weezer and since I was kind of holding a grudge toward dance rock at the time, but I've mellowed down some since then and this song actually isn't that bad.
I think I was just more upset about the thought of it being the last in a line of otherwise emotionally-braindead single picks as opposed to songs that I thought were truly much better, but now that Perfect Situation had a good run, I can't complain.
