A few stations have already gone all-Christmas:
WBBF/Rochester WALC/Charleston, SC WRLX/South Bend WSSS/Charlotte WRSN/Burlington, SC
WLTM/Atlanta is giving listeners in that area a teaser of what's to come. Expect for them to go all-Christmas any day now. I'll be adding more stations as they become available.

Boston's Kiss 108's sister station KissAM, which usually plays oldies (ancient, as i like to say)...goes All-Christmas usually around the week of Thanksgiving. If you happen to find yourself passing through Boston...check out AM1430 for 100% XMas!

Last year, two stations here (Jackson, Mississippi) had the temporary Christmas format. - WJKK--Mix 98.7: mainstream AC
- WQJQ--Q105.1: oldies (was Jammin' Oldies until March of this year)
So far, no stations here have switched to Christmas... yet!

I just can't fathom playing nothing but Christmas music more than a month before December 25th. If I were an employee of an all-Xmas station, I'd probably go crazy.

Well, aren't I lucky. Not 1, but 2 New Orleans stations are now all Christmas. Magic 101.9 is all Christmas as is the new Lite 92.3, which just turned AC a week ago. There's nothing like hearing Silent Night on November 15th...

Anyone have suggestions for other songs?? Yeah. Would you consider Eminem's Jingle Bells? (I think it was released last year.) I heard it around Christmas of last year, via WDBT.

Add The Waitresses "Christmas Wrapping" to that list...It's my favorite Christmas song...
Did you have "Do They Know It's Christmas" on there? I mean nothing says Christmas like British pop artists singing about Africa...
Anyway, I put on Blink yesterday and heard some Christmas song and was like what the heck...I'm really of the mindset that it's too soon to go all Christmas...But I think Blink could be using it as a way of changing formats again maybe?...Their current commercials advertise "the new 102.7" and not "Blink 102.7" as they have in recent months...So perhaps a name change or slight format change, being covered up with two months worth of Christmas music?...

They changed from Hot AC to Mainstream AC not too long ago, but I guess maybe they might be changing again. Lite FM is a hard force to compete with.

I have a question for anyone. Destiny's Child did a song called "Oprea Of The Bells" , what is the original title of the song?

I don't know of any Maine radio station that plays all Christmas music. But I am sure there are some around. I know Wal*Mart radio starts playing Xmas music on Black Friday to get everyone in the spirit.

More all-Christmas converts:
KUDL and KSRC/Kansas City WOOD/Grand Rapids KSYR/Shreveport (this one's slated for a format change after Christmas) WOEZ/Knoxville (non-commercial station) WMXL/Lexington
I don't know of any in the state of Maine.

KBAY/KBAA San Francisco also. Three out of the Top 10 markets now have no non-Christmas Adult Contemporary. Philadelphians who want Adult Contemporary now have to listen to all old music, Urban Adult Contemporary, or Hot Adult Contemporary that plays some rap music (or sources other than local commercial radio).

the american idol christmas cd is worth checking out for songs to play.tamyra grays version of "silent night "is so soulfully done.she really does her own thing with it. and tamyra grays duet with ruben studdard "have yourself a merry little christmas"is so beautifully done .their voices blend well together.

EZ Rock 97.3 FM here in Toronto has gone all-Christmas, I noticed last week
I hope they flip formats to CHR/Pop , Urban or Rhythmic after the New Year, LOL
but that station is really popular at workplaces, so...but they can always have CHFI 98.1, lol
we have too many AC/Hot AC stations here in Toronto, and not enough Pop, or under-25 audience stations, hell we dont even have a true Pop station
