Hit it, Bjork!
I think "Army of Me" is her biggest Alternative hit.

Her music is terrible. Sure she's creative, but her music is AWFUL. I don't see the appeal at all.

Um, her music is often "difficult", quite frequently brilliant, rarely awful.

She's an acquired taste; it just takes some time getting used to her music.
Actually, "Human Behavior" and "Big Time Sensuality" were the biggest Alt. hits, both in the top ten. Nothing since Post has really done any damage on the charts. She doesn't need radio play though; enough people will pick up the album, many who don't even care for the radio.
When Vespertine was out, I knew little about Björk. I now am much more familiar. That and Post are incredible. I haven't honestly listened to Medùlla that much.

I remember once hearing "Human Behavior" after a System of A Down song. It was cool. Hopefully a similar thing happens with this song.

Well, considering the last time she hit the Alternative chart was scraping the bottom for a few weeks in '95 with "It's Oh So Quiet," I don't think anyone should realistically get their hopes up that this will get much of any play on Alternative radio stations.
Her next album should be great, though. Medùlla was too musically conceptual, a little too out there. It's a fine record, but I don't find myself going back to it like her other ones.

Bjork is one of my very favorite artists so I cannot wait. I know she'll give us something we've never heard before. She always does.

This song is going to be great. I LOOOVE her to death, especially her zanyness!
This better not be Timbaland-produced though!

It's awesome. So different for her. I wouldn't be surprised if radio DOES pick up on this.

My first reaction to this wasn't as positive as I was assuming it would be.
Hell, Bjork & Timbaland sounds great on paper, but I was underwhelmed by the end result in this case.

Her new album cover is kind of weird, from the time I saw it.

Billboard review:
Earth Intruders BJÖRK Producer(s): Timbaland, Bjork, Danja Genre: ROCK Label: Elektra/Atlantic
While Björk tapped Timbaland to collaborate with her on a few tracks on new album "Volta," her creations with the in-demand producer/ songwriter remain decidedly her own. On "Earth Intruders," Timbaland's percussion-fueled foundation sets the tone. Imagine, if you will, a high school marching band from Nebraska uprooted and plopped in the middle of Rio during Carnival, and you'll begin to understand the magic here. Then there's that voice. It shakes, it quivers, it shrieks—a natural wonder of the world. A feisty track, "Earth Intruders" finds Björk singing of "turmoil" and "carnage" and of those "coming to end the doubt pouring over." Björk for president. —Michael Paoletta
