Goes for adds on May 8th.
I want to look forward to this because I really liked Chuck, but I have a bad feeling about it.

Yeah, since Dave Baksh was their lead guitar player, I wonder how well they're gonna do without his contributions. I can't help but echo your feelings of dread for their career.
Never heard AKNF or HHOP aside from the singles, but the last two records were decent. "Pieces" and "Still Waiting" are the two best songs they've made to date.

Just as long as we don't get another mess like "We're All To Blame", I'm really interested to hear this.

I can't wait to hear this. Chuck was my second favorite album of 2004. I've heard from some sources that this new album will be strictly more metal sounding than pop-punk but then I've heard the opposite from other places. We'll just have to see.

You know, I really think that whoever said it would be more metal is full of shit, because in every interview I've read they've specifically said they didn't want to do Chuck again and they were going back to the sound of the other albums. Although in a recent interview they said it would be a little harder than the other albums, but they still reiterated they weren't following up Chuck.

Me too since in my opinion, Chuck & Does This Look Infected? > All Killer No Filler & Half Hour Of Power. However with Dave not in the band anymore and knowing that penance knows his music news pretty much better than 99.9% of the people on Earth, don't count on it

Dave was the most metal-inspired guy in the band, from what I've understood.

This song has just started getting quite a bit of airplay. I haven't heard it yet...but I hope it's better than March of the Pigs.
