Figured this needed a topic. Still no adds date, but it's already at #30 so it's obviously the new single.
I should hate this...but I don't. It's catchy and the guitar sounds so 80's.

Best song on the album BY FAR (although that's not saying too much). I hope this one is successful.

Best song on the album BY FAR (although that's not saying too much). Because they're all so completely awesome, correct?

I like the song a lot, but I don't necessarily think it's powerful. The video is just fine to me (and although it's the latest in a line of backward videos, I can claim it's a ripoff of Mute Math's "Typical" since it was the most recent ).

There's nothing wrong with a backwards video when it's done right (although it's too bad Mute Math beat them to the punch this year). When it's executed right, it can be one of the best videos to make. The problem is that the key for these videos lies in the details of each shot. I mean, you look Jack Johnson's video for "Sitting, Waiting, Wishing," and you find yourself picking up every bouncing ball and every strand of spaghetti flying around. Well, after seeing the video yesterday, I couldn't remember one exceptional detail that really made me say "Wow, you don't see that every day." I only saw it once, and more often than not that's not enough to cement an opinion, so maybe that'll change as time goes on. Right now, though, it feels kinda lackluster.

After attending the Projekt Revolution Tour today, all I can say to you all is that no matter what the cost is, if you ever have the chance to see Linkin Park at a venue near you, make sure you get your ass there. It is well DAMN worth the price for freaking orgasmic show they put on! Of course the only way I was able to go today and take the day off from work was is that my boss had to come with me and I have to work eight hours tomorrow on a Saturday when the offices are typical closed. There's always a catch ::sighs:: but it didn't matter

It is well DAMN worth the price for freaking orgasmic show they put on! I respectfully disagree, having seen them 5 and 6 years ago. If MCR got a full headlining set, then I might make the trek to Chicago, as they have not been to my neck of the woods since putting out The Black Parade...bastards. (Also HIM, Placebo, MSI, etc. are major draws, as well.) It's not like I'd leave after MCR, like I did after seeing Bleeding Through with Saosin and Senses Fail yet to play, but it'd be like seeing Korn and Evanescence after Atreyu. Still worth watching, but the main attraction is over.

Though their new song "Becoming The Bull" at least has grabbed my attention. I will admit that I like that song. But to put them above Korn and Evanescence seems like a stretch to me as Atreyu is not very innovative, and Korn and Evanescence are leaders rather than followers, which is more than Atreyu can say.
