I hope Nelly Furtado and Michelle Branch make Top 10. As of now, it's more likely for Michelle.

As much I love Powerless, it just doesn't sound good on the radio :(
As for Breathe, it sounds like a big hit. I don't know about #1 but it should be Top 5 easily (I was worried when her bullet sank to around +150 but I figured it would recover once MATM died down)

I am REALLY starting to like this song... I bought Hotel Paper the day it came out (June 24), along with Beyonce  but I haven't really even given Hotel Paper a good, long, full listen. I like the song with Sheryl Crow, though. Anyways, "Breathe" is a good song, I like it...it's grown on me a great deal... And...HOW many songs have been titled "Breathe" in 2003? |

This is my favorite Michelle Branch song, hands down. I've never really gotten into her music much, though I do like "Game Of Love". Even though it's had kind of an irratic run spin gain wise, I'd be pretty surprised if she didn't at least make the top 15. I still expect her to go top 10.

I haven't met anyone who doesn't like this song! I just don't understand! I mean I can definitely see this happening to "Goodbye to You," but not "Breathe." I wonder how this will afffect her follow-ups.

I just don't understand! I mean I can definitely see this happening to "Goodbye to You," but not "Breathe." Yeah, I was just thinking how "GTY" almost made Top 10 and it's not even that radio-friendly and a lot of people I know think it's boring. Yet "Breathe" is a song that many people say is their favorite MB song, it's definitely radio friendly and its kind of flopping. I don't get it, but I still hope things turn around! |

The whole "Hotel Paper" cd is awesome. I am particuarly surprised that "Breathe" isn't doing better. Hopefully if this bombs her next single will pick up. It would be a shame to see "Are You Happy Now?" be the only hit off such a good album.

"Breathe" now has a bullet of +175. This has to be one of the weirdest things I've ever seen happen to a song. It's been doing this for awhile now. It bounces back and forth.

In my opinion, this is one of her better singles. I liked, but wasn't head over heels for 'Are You Happy Now?'. It got a little stale, but Breathe is still fresh.

+200 and move back into the jump section! There is a large gap between ths song and the songs below it, a 520 spin gap! She's closer to to the #15 song which is falling at -259, now she should have no trouble making the Top 20, and hopefully she can build from there. This song has been all over the place and has been gaining a lot in the past few days and I don't think it will stop too soon.

I think its payola too, but I wonder why since its having no impact on album sales for the cd. It seems like if Breathe hasnt already made an impact and is struggling and it has not helped the album, they would just abandon it and move onto the next single instead of payolaing it to a few spots higher.
Oh well, dont know enough about radio :)

I like Micelle Branch a lot and I suspect Payola, but maybe there is no payola. It's hard to tll, this song's bullet has been all over the place.

Also, the song has been going back and forth with a small bullet and medium bullet from the start. It's not like it suddenly has +800 gains. |

Now let's just hope "Bright Lights" loses enough spins to allow "Breathe" to make top 20... because Kelis and Outkast will pass her, but Fountains of Wayne and Nelly will fall below.
