It looks like "My Immortal" by Evanescence is coming back after dissapearing from adds as it is now number two in total adds. It seems like a lot of good early research is coming in to play, and it may be a big hit on pop and Hot AC. Most people can connect to the song too.
I think it could go top 5 on both Pop and Hot AC.

I say this song is without a doubt the best on the album. Definitely top 10 material. We'll have to see about #1. Personally, I think it deserves #1, but that's just my EXTREMELY biased opinion

It's gaining slowly now, but it'll pick up in the coming weeks... I'll predict #1.

I'm suprised at how much it has taken off. I don't think it will do too much in the UK charts.

I honestly thought this would explode upon the adds date, but it isn't doing so at all. It might struggle to a #18 peak.

It's gonna do a lot better than that. They were nominated for ALBUM of the year. I hope that these pop MDs take notice of one of the albums of the year. Bring Me to Life was excellent yes, but that song does not judge the entire album. It's rising steadily and that's a good thing. So I stand by my top 10 prediction. Yep it's the third single and the minute I hear it on Z100 I think I'll have a heart attack

I definitely like this more than the overrated "Bring Me To Life", though it is slower and doesn't pick up till the 3:00 mark.
I think they're going to pull a "Be Like That" and just miss the Top 10. probably peaking between #12-#15. I see this following the same 3 Doors Down pattern from their debut album, when "Kryptonite" went to #1 but their second single that was shipped to CHR/Pop, actually their fourth single from the album, fell short of Top-10 status.
So my prediction is the single will have very slow chart growth, but like "(There's Gotta be) More To Life" or "Unwell", it'll hang in there, peak in its 16th or 17th week, and become a strong non top-10 recurrent.
My Prediction: #13
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

I think it'll keep going for a while. I'll say it'll peak around #14 two months from now.

I predict #10, but I get the feeling we're all overpredicting.

It's already at 46. I don't think it's gonna stop any time soon, and if they perform My Immortal at the Billboard Music Awards well, I can see it exploding onto radio like "Milkshake" has in the past week.

It should be #1 since it is way better than Bring Me To Life, and it made both my wife and I sit up and take notice of the band. However, it is slow starting.

That would make me so happy. I just hope this song isn't too boring for pop radio, then again they are playing "The Voice Within." Then again, that is Christina. Then again, "Being Me to Life" went to #1. Then again "Going Under" flopped on pop! What a mystery!

As I recall, "Going Under" never went for CHR/Pop adds.

As I recall, "Going Under" never went for CHR/Pop adds. I'm 99% sure it did, the 1% is because the adds date may have been pulled, but I don't think it was.

As I recall, "Going Under" never went for CHR/Pop adds. I could have sworn it did. There seemed to be a lot of discussion about that song flopping.

You're right, Going Under flopped which is why they rushed My Immortal as a single. I don't think it even hit top 40.

"Going Under" peaked at #49, if I recall correctly. It went 50-49-off or something like that.

Well My Immortal has already passed that peak. No flop YAY I wouldn't say that yet. Until it is in the top40 anyway. It really pisses me off that a song making the top40 doesn't make it a hit anymore. I guess I'm an old sentimental fool.

Maybe, hopefully, it will have a run much like "Someday."
