Thanks to everyone who gave their opinions on who would or would not be a good moderator. I received responses from 27 people.
Based on the results, I have selected two people to help me out with the moderating duties around here, and they have both accepted. They are
TCorey and The Rebirth Experience.
I think two should be enough for now, but I'm not putting it out of the question to appoint another one or two should the situation be warranted. Please give Tony and Josh the same respect you would give me. I believe both of them are fully capable of doing the job, and the votes indicate that you feel the same way. Thanks.

I agree, and look forward to better boards (not to say that Matt was doing a poor job... you know what I mean.)

Hey! Congrats guys! I will try not to be too antagonistic in my posts. TCorey, I'm wondering, weren't you moving to New York sometime this millennium?

Crap, I didn't even realize that we had a chance to vote until today...
Oh well, great choices. Couldn't have picked them better myself.

I didn't vote. What the hell are you people smoking making rebirth experience a moderator? ??? >:( >: we'll see just how gay he is by whether he deletes this message or not. :o Ummm okayyyyyy. By the way, personal attacks are not tolerated here... which I believe you just did. You may want to go back and edit that.

Pookie. TPookie deleted it? LMAO. Since he/she accused Josh of being "gay" if he deleted the post. :o

First of all, homphobic or any other comments that discriminate will not be tolerated. That should go without any kind of warning.
Secondly, members coming to this board solely to cause drama in the off-topic lounge will be denied the right to post.

You guys are way too fast in replying. After making a post in the Pop Forum, I realized that whenever you quote someone, the name of the person you quote appears in blue above the quote and came here to delete my above post.

Well, geez, if I would have realized TCorey was here, I would have put him as one of my "should be a moderator" votes.
As for Josh, I am literally :O. I thought after the little UMG escapade, he would be near the top of the "no" voting list.
[[Ummm okayyyyyy.
By the way, personal attacks are not tolerated here... which I believe you just did. You may want to go back and edit that.]]
And just to add my 2 cents, I think that post is pathetic. If you're not a moderator, you have no grounds to tell people what or what not to do.

Yet I do respect the job our adminisrator and moderator are doing, and they deserve our respect. I don't like or appreciate when other members give them difficulties. SO now YOU are telling me that's pathetic ???

Oops, I forgot to vote... I didn't vote either, 'cuz I was ignorant to the fact that there was voting. But I think that we have pretty good choices made.

I voted for TCorey and Josh as my moderators. And I also voted other people I consider to be neutral like Tico and I forget who else. I'm not sure about Josh's neutrality on the boards right now. I did recommend him but I admit to putting an astericky by his name. But I don't disagree with his position. :)

Within a topic, I may be biased against a person, but once that argument is over, I'm finished and I really couldn't care about what that person said that ticked me off. I go back to being neutral towards them. Another thing that really got to me was Sean's comment to me this morning in the "Angel Of Mine" topic. He said that I should not have argued with John because I'm a moderator. I really think that that is absolutely ridiculous because if I wasn't allowed to stand up for my opinion, people could just walk all over the moderators here. I frequent two other message boards and the administrators there will straight curse members out. I think a great deal of the people here got completely spoiled by how the moderators rarely dealt with member and posting problems. If you go to a lot of other message boards, the staff is running it the same way that this board is being run. I really don't see what the big problem was about me being moderator from the beginning. I can't believe as soon as I went to start UMG, how much my "approval rating" dropped. That upsets me, but I'm doing my job and I try to not let the negativity really take away from what I'm doing.

Just remember that you can't satisfy literally everybody, so just keep on doing your job fairly and have no regrets. Things are going well on this board, but then we have two topics closed over the past 48 hours due to arguments. Hopefully those will eventually die down... Thanks Josh and just keep it up. :)

I didn't vote either, 'cuz I was ignorant to the fact that there was voting. But I think that we have pretty good choices made. I sent a PM out to everyone who was registered on Wednesday of last week asking for their selections. People who registered afterwards didn't get the PM. How many votes did I get? Individual votes will not be disclosed.
