The top 100 of 2003 is here! Obviously, no guessing if you have the 12/12 magazine and have already looked. I'll start off by posting clues for #s 86-100. Once all of those have been guessed, the next batch of clues will be posted. #100: Kicking off the top 100 is a song that peaked at #21 several weeks ago. #99: Here's a song by a female rapper that peaked at #12 and went recurrent from #25. #98: This song just missed the top 20, but is still the highest charting pop hit to date for this urban artist. #97: It took away my old man. Or was it my girl? #96: This dance song peaked at #21. #95: This sampled the same song that a song that finished in the top 30 sampled. #94: This was the follow-up to a surprise hit from this band. #93: The first(and likely last) top 40 hit for this male band. Most people on this board seem to either love this or hate this. #92: Some people refered to her as 'the female Eminem' back at R and R. #91: The artist/group that does this song has a color in their name. There was another song that came out a little over a year ago with the same title. This artist/group also had a color in their name. #90: This song peaked at #16. The artist's other two songs went top 5. #89: This song is still on the chart now and continues to slowly but surely gain. #88: The first of two songs in the top 100 for this artist. The other one is in the top 10. #87: This male rapper also has two songs in the top 100. #86: Though it peaked one spot lower than their other top 40 hit, this one didn't tumble off nearly as fast.

I haven't gotten my magazine yet. >:(
#91: The artist/group that does this song has a color in their name. There was another song that came out a little over a year ago with the same title. This artist/group also had a color in their name. Blu Cantrell - Breathe (wow, where did this peak, #34 or something?)
#89: This song is still on the chart now and continues to slowly but surely gain. Liz Phair - Why Can't I?
#88: The first of two songs in the top 100 for this artist. The other one is in the top 10. 50 Cent - 21 Questions
#87: This male rapper also has two songs in the top 100. Eminem - Sing For the Moment
#86: Though it peaked one spot lower than their other top 40 hit, this one didn't tumble off nearly as fast. Coldplay - Clocks

Wouldn't there be 3 songs each in the Top 100 for 50 Cent & Eminem??

Wouldn't there be 3 songs each in the Top 100 for 50 Cent & Eminem?? I'm guessing that "P.I.M.P." is too new to make it and "Superman" didn't get enough airplay.

Didn't "Superman" make Top 10? I would think if "Bright Lights" could make Top 100 so could "P.I.M.P."

Didn't "Superman" make Top 10? I would think if "Bright Lights" could make Top 100 so could "P.I.M.P." "Superman" made top 10 but fell very quickly and had little recurrent airplay. You might be right about "P.I.M.P.", but like I said, it was just a guess. #88 could also be "Here Without You" by 3 Doors Down or "Baby Boy" by Beyonce f/Sean Paul.

I didn't get mine either. :(
98. Snoop Dogg featuring Pharrell & Uncle Charlie Wilson: "Beautiful" 95. Smilez & Southstar: "Tell Me (What's Goin' On)" 93. Trapt: "Headstrong"? 87. P. Diddy & Ginuwine featuring Loon, Mario Winans & Tammy Ruggeri: "I Need A Girl (Part Two)"?
88 seems to be a bit low for a song that has hit #1 ("Baby Boy").

"Here Without You" & "Baby Boy" are in the top 40! I only know the top 30 or so.

Whoops, I missed this: "#88 is the right artist but the wrong song."
So it's obviously "Sk8er Boi".
I still think I'm right with "Sing For the Moment", though. "Deliverance" probably didn't make it.

I think "Sing For The Moment" is gonna be in the top 40.

OH!! That's probably who it is, man obviously Nelly is really fading away fast, I completely forgot all about him.

I'm just going to fill in the ones that have been correctly guessed:
100. 99. Angie Martinez- If I Could Go 98. 97. Counting Crows- Big Yellow Taxi 96. Lasgo- Something 95. Smilez and Southstar- Tell Me 94. Matchbox Twenty- Bright Lights 93. 92. Sarai- Ladies 91. Blu Cantrell f/ Sean Paul- Breathe 90. Kelly Clarkson- Low 89. Liz Phair- Why Can't I? 88. Avril Lavigne- Sk8er Boi 87. 86. Coldplay- Clocks
"P.I.M.P." and "Superman" are both higher up in the top 100, by the way.
For #100, everyone seems to be missing the clue that it peaked there only several weeks ago.

87 can also be Fabolous featuring Mike Shorey & Lil' Mo: "Can't Let You Go." I think I'll go with this one as my guess instead.

Can I use my Pulse 100 database as an aid in figuring these out?

EDIT: I guessed, but didn't look at the second page. All the ones I guessed were already guessed correctly.
