That's right, after being displaced from her throne for 2 weeks by Dido, Delta Goodrem is again at #1 for week 20 (20 weeks at #1, 30 weeks total on charts, all 30 weeks in top 3) on the ARIA charts! Amazing... and with 10 nominations at Tuesdays ARIA awards (she is expected to win almost everything) the album is sure to be at #1 for awhile longer.
Debuts: #3 The Living End #42 Travis #44 Saddle Club #48 Outkast
Over on the singles chart, the Australian Idol single "Rise Up" recorded by the top 12 contestants debuts at #1 pushing Black Eyed Peas and Delta down to #2 and #3 respectively.
Debuts: #19 R Kelly #21 Fountains Of Wayne #22 REM #35 Something For Kate #46 1200 Techniques
Over on the music DVD's chart, Delta Goodrem's new DVD entitled "Delta" debuts at #1 and will likely remain there til the new year. That's her 6th separate title to be a #1 entry on various ARIA charts.

Thanks for getting that off my back ;) Rise Up! It must be your innocent eyes... I just get too excited of a Sunday night to go to bed without checking if Delta's at #1. Maybe when her album goes away I'll just wait to check the charts on Monday morning...

Sean, is that about on par for a Travis album there? Were they ever really big there like in the UK, or did they just have a small, underground following like in the USA?

Adam, I don't know Travis' album peaks but I know their Australian singles peaks:
Why Does It Always Rain On Me? #11 Sing #41

Congrats to Delta! This week she also reached number one on my personal chart with "Not Me, Not I."

I would've thought they'd debut higher. They've never been massive but seem like the kind of band that would have a decent sized following, more than what I'd call small and underground. However, I don't know if there's a single out for them now but I haven't heard about it.
