One piece of news...
I heard "I say never again but here we are" for the first time on Canadian radio. Come to think of it, it's the first time I've heard Rachel Stevens on N. America airwaves. The track was played after the morning rush in a Toronto station.
I didn't know Rachel is being promoted here in Canada (which being in the commonwealth gets some Australian and UK singles).

This is sad. This is easily the best pop album of the year, if not the past 2,3 years. I doubt, 'Nothing Good...,' will ever get released but it would be one of their wiser choices. 'I Will Be There,' is millions better though.

I'm becoming interested in her, as well. (Who's next?! Atomic Kitten?! NO!) ;) Anyway, I loved Come & Get It & I was wondering what her plans are for a third album. I swear "Some Girls" is almost worthy of Goldfrapp. :o "I Said Never Again"? Glitter rock put through that magical Eurotrash filter. Two of the best pop tracks of 2005. I hope she continues to work in an increasingly quirky, avant-garde electropop direction a la The Aloud. *cough*Xenomania!*cough*

Rachel is my 3rd favorite singer and like you also think, I believe Come and Get It is one of the most underrated pop albums of recent times. 'Some Girls' is A CLASSIC! Richard X at his best at that song, it's amazing, true amazing and sexy (the message it carry is nasty but that's the key to a good pop song afterall) She would release 'Crazy Boys' as the 4th single off C&GI but since the album tanked they shelved plans :( Actually Crazy Boys was to be released instead of ISNA (Thank God no, because as much as I love Crazy Boys, ISNA is a F A N T A S T I C track) but they switched plans on the last minute, and who knows if that was good or bad. One way or another word on the street is that Rachel will be back sometime in 2008 - hopefully. She hasnt been dropped but her company, 19, decided to give her a try in america to try to get some movie roles - she failed though. So by Xmas a fan saw her in London and asked her if she'd be back to music and she said she will and very soon... but once again we can take for granted words from popstars with uncertain future Recently an unreleased song from her that remained almost like a 'myth' among us, her fans, have been confirmed to exist and actually recorded - and described at Popjustice.com as an AMAZING track, which is Rhymic Junkie, another Richard X production... We can only hope she comesback with such a great sound like she does Hey oscillations. maybe you already heard all her material but if so far you only heard the songs on Come and Get It, I suggest you to take a peek and some of her B-sides, QUEEN and SPIN THAT BOTTLE two dark and very very great pieces of pop! Hopefully you'll love it and aw WAITING GAME which somehow ressembles Sophie's 'Catch You', but Rachel's much better

I thought they really wanted to release "Nothing Good About This Goodbye".
Anyway, I thought "Come And Get It" was a solid pop album. I really liked "Funny How".

I too am a HUGE Rachel fan, she is probably my favorite singer. A big problem being a Rachel fan is the lack of news at the moment and the past few months. We are all hoping she comes back soon and with a bang though

The only album better than Come and Get It in 2005 was Chemistry.
Some Girls, I Said Never Again, Negotiate With Love, and Sweet Dreams My LA Ex are among the best pop singles of the noughties, and Funny How is one of the best pop album tracks of the decade.

^ Negotiate With Love was probably the best pop song released in 2005. It was all kinds of hot.

"Come & Get It" was pop music at its best.
Her voice has no personality and she's not a great vocalist or something, but I like her. It sucks that she got great material and it didn't do well with the public.

Yeah...here's to hoping her career doesn't go the way of Holly Valance and start making sucky movie after sucky movie (i.e. "Pledge This! starring Paris Hilton...direct to video and "D.O.A." based on a video game.) Rachel is a great performer. Her vocal isn't particularly strong but she's the ideal pop star. She can sing, she can dance and she's freakin' hot!
I think her small part in "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigalo" unleashed the desire to act more. Blah.

As good as her songs are, there's just something about her that makes her almost impossible to market successfully. Having said that "Some Girls" is one of the best pop songs of the decade.

The british pop act Rachel Stevens (also known as a former S Club) announced that she's starting to record her third solo album after "Funky Dory" (from 2003 with the singles "Sweet Dreams My LA Ex", "Funky Dory", "Some Girls" and "More, More, More") and "Come And Get It" (from 2005 with the singles "Negotiate With Love", "So Good" and "I Said Never Again (But Here We Are)"

BEST WAY TO KICK IN THE NEW YEAR
I am so ready for Rachel Stevens to comeback and show all these bitches HOW ACTUAL ELECTRO-POP should and has to be done.
Now bring back a new album by Holly Valance and I'm going to PASS OUT!

Really liked Come and Get It. I never understood why it kinda underperformed.
So Good was one of my favorite songs of 2005.
