Why is a 12 yr old dressed like Britney Spears? I guess the next thing we'll see is her kissing Britney Spears at the Nick Jr. music awards. Let's hope Justin Timberlake stays away from her.

This song sounds way too mature for her. Kids need to be kids again.

"don't you have a son to take care of..."
Umm... how old are all of you? And if you're as old as I think you are now... why do you still listen to Hilary Duff and post at message boards?
:o :o :o
EDIT: Sorry 'bout that, what you do with your time is your business... it just freaked me out a bit.
Anyway, the song sucks. ~_~ And she's way too young to be dressed like that and singing these songs. At least wait till she's 16.

I like this song. It is pretty good. She's only 12 and hitting the pop radio airwaves.
Oh no I am getting old. :(

I like it when she yells "Leave!"
She doesn't have that Kristy Frank "X-factor."

I think Jojo should get together with Kaci and form a duo. They could sing R&B ballads and call themselves Kaci and Jojo. They could be big!

No, I'm not new, I've been here since the R&R days, I just don't talk much (but I read everything).
Actually, it was a joke--Kaci and Jojo (K-Ci and Jojo from Jodeci)
I do like Kaci though--I really like "Intervention Divine"

JoJo will be performing at WLLD Tampa's Wild 98.7 WildSplash next Saturday, March 13th at Coachman Park in Clearwater.
OutKast's Big Boi (with Sleepy Brown and Killer Mike) is headlining the event, which also features the YoungBloodZ, T.I., and reggae artists Buju Banton and T.O.K.
WLLD is a Rhythmic station...and JoJo's "Leave" is #9 on their playlist this week.
I haven't heard this song yet, but...a 12 year old white girl performing at a rap/reggae show alongside all these Dirty South gangsta crunk rappers and dancehall artists, and being high on their playlist? ???
LOL

I downloaded it off MTV.com but I am 100% sure that it's not an mp3 because it won't burn to a CD. :'(

Does the background music of "Leave" remind you of another song? I can't pinpoint what it is.

The song is alright, I guess. When it first came out, I liked it. Not so much anymore.
I don't think she's 12. Nobody would seriously push such a fledgling artist, no matter how much talent they have. To be taken seriously, you really need to be a teenager. Around the age LeAnn Rimes began her career. If she's 12 and in the top 40, there might be a little problem.
She is likely around 13 or 14. I thought I heard that when she was on MTV's "You Hear It First". I just can't track down a birthdate on her.
