While I agree with what you are driving at, I would hardly label New York as a "classy" city. Any city where the motorists yell "F%CK You!" when you haven't cut them off or done anything to impede them can hardly be considered classy. In addition, you need look no further than the sports fans in a given city to deduce if it is classy or not. I'm afraid New York hardly qualifies. Austin, Texas for instance, is classy. People are extremely friendly the city is fairly clean and people are pretty educated there. When did I say New York was classy?

I think people that find Xtina sexy are usually early teenage boys who think she is hot because she wears nothing, and just people who find that look hot. I work with people with masters degrees who find her sexy, and others who think she is trash.
I don't think you can say its a midwest thing or an NYC thing. I bet is proportionally all throughout the country where people find her sexy, whether it be Pittsburgh, NYC, or Des Moines.

Classy has a different definition for everyone. Some people consider class as how you dress, and what you drive. For others its education, while some feel its how you treat people. One man's class is another man's trash.

When did I say New York was classy? When you said "Christina is trash, I'm guessing anyone who voted for her is from the midwest cause that s**t wouldn't fly in a town with some class. " You implied that there are no classy towns in the midwest. This implies they must be on the coast somewhere. You have made references to how great New York is in other posts and in this thread also said "I'm guessing you haven't been to cities such as San Francisco, New York and Miami and then......" further implying that you consider New York "above" thinking Christina is hot and by process of elimination, a classy town. If you didn't mean that, I'll take your word for it, but if you are going to throw out terms like "classy town" tell us what you think a classy town is, because the midwest if pretty large to be throwing blanket statements about liking trash over the whole region.

Most of them are sexy, but Christina just has "It" which puts her above them all, she carries herself so well and has a lot of confidence, plus she has the most natural beauty.
Shania and Faith are very sexy too.

I voted other - Shakira.
She is far more sexy than any on that list. Sexy isn't about getting your clothes off, it's about much more. That's why Faith Hill and Shania are also high on my list.

Hahaha, okay I was just f**king around with you. Yeah from what I've seen of the midwest I don't think the people are very classy -- as in they don't have much style and probably think the Olive Garden and Red Lobster are fine dining.
Yes, I have a stereotypical NYC view of the midwest, even after I've been there. But if you don't think that stereotype applies to you, then there's nothing to get upset about.
Christina looks trashy with her heavy makeup, gross looking hair and expensive-yet-cheap-looking outfits. Regardless of if he wants do her or not, I would think even Billy Joe in his trailer park in West Buttf**k Alabama would agree with that. But hey, I could be wrong.

Christina Aguilera and Celine Dion are two of the most hideous creatures to walk the face of the Earth. Christina looks like a walking, talking outbreak of genital warts, and Celine is just a dog, plain and simple. You're pathetic. Way too much negativity in you. You know there's something wrong when a topic asks who the sexiest are, yet you say who the ugliest are first.

Christina looks like a walking, talking outbreak of genital warts HAHAHA, that's great.
I've heard her referred to as 'syphillis on a stick' many times...

. Actually, it is possible that your stereotypical view of the Midwest was a little more accurate years and years ago. I remember relatives taking trips to New York and San Fran and the like and telling us about the stores and restaurants and how great it was. In the last few years I've visited those places and they had very little to offer for me. Sure New York has Broadway which is cool, you don't get that in the Midwest, but aside from that, there wasn't too much you can't find in the Midwest. The Golden Gate Bridge was cool, and obviously the Midwest doesn't have the crazy hills that San Fran does. There are very few stores and restaurants that are big on those areas that haven't expanded to the Midwest though. Even so, I think the "style" you refer to has very little to do with class. The reason I say this, is that class also has to do with dignity, and you can't have dignity without giving and receiving respect. From your other posts I gather that you are also a bit enamoured with wealth. The richest man in America that is not Bill Gates resides in Omaha, NE. Granted he's boring as hell, but there's some wealth for you. Those trailer parks you are more than likely referring to by the way, DO exist on the coast, why, even in your home state, so don't make the mistake that only the Midwest is capable of poor taste.

I'm sorry but you cannot find the restaurants and the nightlife and the cultural and ethnic diversity you find in major cities in Omaha, Nebraska.
And yes I like money, it's made my life pretty damn good. Nothing wrong with that. Didn't say that's what it takes to make everyone happy.
And yeah, I went to a rural area in upstate NY last year and it was horrifying, I thought I was in Tennessee or something. Most of America is like that though...
As for your definition of class, well if that's what you consider it to be, then I doubt you know enough about Christina or any other pop star to tell if they're classy or not.

However you can in St. Louis, Chicago, Cleveland, Cincinnati and even places you wouldn't expect like Columbia, MO and Indianapolis, IN. These are all in the Midwest. Even Kansas City has some decent nightlife if you know where to look for it. I didn't quote it, but as for class and Britney and Christina, you can talk about that. They don't have the self-respect to NOT resort to sex to sell their music, so they aren't very classy. That's really not a tough call. Especially the dignity part. Do you really think either one of these "pop princesses" carry themselves with dignity? Check the VMA performance with Madonna to answer that one.

Okay well let's not bother continuing the discussion then. I don't see how someone can argue that you can find the collection of culture, fine dining and nightlife that you have in NYC in any of those cities. Maybe they have a nightlife that appeals to you, but not to me.
As for class and dignity, I could easily use sex to sell whatever, and I would have dignity and self-respect as far as I was concerned.
You seem to have ultra-conservative values compared to myself, which is cool, but I think that's why we have such different ideas on certain character elements.

You seem to have ultra-conservative values compared to myself, which is cool, but I think that's why we have such different ideas on certain character elements. On the nightlife issue, you are saying that because say St. Louis has only 5 cool clubs compared to 25 cool clubs in NYC, that it doesn't appeal to you? You nail it when you say "collection" NYC is bigger, therefore it has more of those things, but I saw nothing in NYC to make me think they had superior or better clubs and restaurants in general. I make the argument because I've seen the nightlife in all those places. I'm doubting that you have based on your perceptions. If you did, perhaps you did not have the proper guide. I actually do not have ultra-conservative values, but from my posts I can see where you would get that. I think, however, that using a kiss with Madonna to get publicity is neither dignified nor classy. I think it is sad they feel they have to resort to "cheap publicity" When you have to appeal to the masses like that, it can hardly be called classy.

I could reply to one of King's posts in here, but I've decided not to stoop to his level.
In fact, since this discussion has gone way off-topic, I'm locking it. People can still reply to the poll, however.

yeah, i was beginning to wonder why this topic was moving towards a battle of which city is coolest... i'm not going to get into this, all i know for a fact, the night life in Timmins sucks.... so far, it looks like Beyonce and Britney are the leading front-runners, Christina and "others" in second... not a bad battle

I voted for Christina but Shania is also extremely beautiful. You think Christina is more beautiful than Shania? You must be crazy. Christina is so ugly. She has no natural beauty whatsoever and she's not even that sexy. I think people are voting for thier favourite artists on this poll.

Other: Jessica Simpson She is honest, unlike some of these women, how they act in front of camera's, I'd bet so much money, they're a totally different person behind the scenes, but at least Jessica will be honest! Love it.

With the choices, the only beautiful ones would be Shania or Faith.
Britney used to be hot, til she got trashy. Christina, well, she just looks bad, a lot, but I've seen some more recent pictures, which have been better, but I cannot forget her past.
