??? Mariah was born and raised in New York. He was referring to Coco Lee.

You mean because she was raised in California for the most part? Yeah, someone told me she's Asian American. And I don't know what this nonsense "And on the horizontal flat land, where she comes from is from the east... " means so I shan't comment.

if i really hated an artist, i'd have my choices... but so far the only thing to really happen has been my interest in a song really dying by overexcited, rude fans of Mariah, TLC, Britney, Madonna and of course Christina

And I don't know what this nonsense "And on the horizontal flat land, where she comes from is from the east... " means so I shan't comment. In this case, "the east" means The Far East.

I think we're getting a little too off-topic here... As has been said, I also don't hate an artist based on fans. Could someone explain why MB20 would be on the list? I don't understand.

Could someone explain why MB20 would be on the list? I don't understand. On R&R & Pulse, there were numerous obsessive Matchbox Twenty fans who raved & raved about how they're amazing or something, especially during the Unwell period. They're still nothing compared to the Xtina lambs though....

LOL, I still don't get it.
You mean I shouldn't have said "east" but "Far East"? Well, the only people who might misinterpret what I said would probably be those who think that the US is the only country in the world.
What has this to do with horizontal flat land? We found out hundreds of years ago that the earth is round.

"Existence" isn't spelled with an "a". And "Twit" is spelled with a double "e". Good grief, since when do you never try to correct people?

Out of what you listed I would have to say Mariah, however none of the ones listed would cause me NOT to buy a CD. However there are some fan groups that HAVE caused me to NOT buy a CD. They are:
Phish The Greatful Dead KISS Dave Matthews Band (but I've gotten over it and like them now) Coldplay (again I've gotten over it and like them now)

Oh, I know exactly what you mean about some of those DMB fans! Acting as if DMB are so musically superior to everybody and everything, it disgusted me. They have good material, but not THAT good!

Yes!!! And usually their musical tastes are so limited and they rarely give other music a chance from personal experience. You've pegged it. I will say however, that one DMB fan got me to listen to David Gray as well as a few other artists that I'm very glad to have been introduced to. However, I notice that I rarely get him to listen to other things.

Michelle Branch fans are the biggest bunch of moronic psychos I have ever seen, worse than any other, go to her official message board. I am a Michelle fan and they don't make me hate her but I hate them and I avoid her site now.
This board doesn't really have too many moronic fans but obviously Christina fans.

There are two kinds of Dave Matthews Band fans. One, who actually like the music and can appreciate their originality (some may be obsessive, but what artist doesn't have that kind of fan).
The second are the kind, usually ages 14-22, who like them because everyone else does. They listen to rap or classic rock or whatever, and just like DMB because its the cool thing to do, or because the tailgating is fun. These people are not TRUE fans, and are the type I can't stand. Phish also has this type of fan. Just annoying.
