Planned, planned, planned. Just a way to make controversy and spark from a mediocre halftime show.

Of course. They're the ones that wouldn't let moveon dot org on their broadcast, while green lighting all the god-awful smoking and anti-drug horseshit.

Justin was singing "I wanna have you naked by the end of this song" and than he ripped off her breast cover that so wasn't an accident.

I wished I watched the halftime show, but I do think it was pre-planned.

You saw all those truth dot com commercials and the parents:the anti-drug commercials during the game, didn't you? I think it was ABC news that ran a segment on how CBS agreed to air those commercials, while rejecting the ones for moveon dot org. Basically, they chose to air one group's negative advertising and not the other. They don't call Cbs the "conservative broadcasting system" for nothing. This "cover up" incident seems like another example.

With that type of huge audience you either give equal time, or you don't give either time. I don't know of anyone that wishes drugs and cigarettes should be given equal time. Please.

I don't think they should be given equal time. I'm simply saying that the network was allowing one form of slander and not the other.

Obviously not, I've heard how Justin Timberlake calls Janet Jackson the sexiest woman alive, he's said it several times in magazines and interviews. He just couldn't handle himself.

Anyone who thinks Janet and Justin, at the least, didn't plan it is very naive. I think CBS just wasn't aware and this was not a rehearsed part of the show.

I said 'no' because it wasn't actually nudity, if there was, then of course it was an accident.

1) I've never heard that term before, and 2) I know why because that is ridiculously wrong. Exactly. The closest thing to conservative CBS has is Andy Rooney. Regarding Janet, is it too much of a coincidence that this stunt happens just weeks before her new single goes for adds?

Well I disagree as to your definition of slander. I've always thought of slander as false statement(s) used with the intent to ruin someone or something's reputation. Maybe the anti-drug ones shouldn't be in this category, but the non smoking ones and the anti-Bush ones are full of it. I've seen both of them and both are packed with exaggerated negativity on whom they're attacking, while being totally ignorant of the good things that the Bush Administration and the tobacco industry have done for the American people. I hate those kinds of ads...even if I'm a supporter of the victim's competition. I wasn't speaking politically when I used the term "conservative", either.

Whether CBS was aware of it beforehand is really beyond me. But it's obvious both Janet and Justin meant for it to happen. Justin's 'apology' is just pathetic.

Well I was speaking largely of the anti-drug ads, but after thinking about those truth ads a bit, I guess I have to say you are right. I happen to agree with them, but your definition does describe what they do. My apologies.

I have to change my vote because Janet-Love.com has video footage of Janet crying when her boob was being exposed.

New theory: Janet did it deliberately to help out her brother.
Since the incident, no mention of Jacko in the news! :O

New theory: Janet did it deliberately to help out her brother. Since the incident, no mention of Jacko in the news! :O Some guy called into Hannity's radio show this week and said that. Carson daly defended MTV and CBS on his "Most Requested" show today saying how they rehearse things over and over again for all MTV shows. He said there was no way it was an accident, and probably something Janet & Justin planned on their own.
