I can't say I like the new R&R site, i really liked the old one. I might just be lazy, but I couldn't find the playlists anywhere. Are they still on the site? Except for the Canadian and some of the minor charts, they're there. Click on a chart from the chart list, and you'll see 2 drop down menus. Click on the down arrow for the top drop down menu and it will give you a list which includes station playlists.

Thanks...a lot easier on the eyes...but now I'm confused...why/how does the "going for adds" section at the bottom of this version differ from the "going for airplay" section of the new R&R? (Sorry...I have very basic knowledge of how all these charts work )

Looking at Billboard.com's latest charts, it looks like the following R&R and Billboard charts are now one and the same: Country AC Hot AC/Adult Top 40 Urban AC/Adult R&B Dance Airplay I'm imagining that the Alternative/Modern Rock and Rhythmic charts will also be the same, but R&R isn't showing this week's Alt. chart and Billboard locks access to their Rhythmic chart. Now that the alternative chart has finally been posted, that is in fact correct. So now I have a question for anyone, as I don't know that much about the Billboard charts. Why are the above charts the same for both Billboard and R&R, while others such as chr/top 40, active rock, heritage rock, and triple A don't seem to have a comparable chart on the Billboard web page. Is this because the comparable charts are in the Billboard magazine but not on the web page, or are these charts in fact exclusive to R&R publication (albeit still derived from BDS)? One other question- what is considered the "chart date" of these new R&R charts? For example, the 08/11 chart was data through 08/05. The current charts indicate "week ending 08/28". So is 08/28 the continuation of the 08/11 sequence, or would that not be the correct chart date? Thanks!

Is this because the comparable charts are in the Billboard magazine but not on the web page, or are these charts in fact exclusive to R&R publication (albeit still derived from BDS)? The formats you mention weren't published in the parent Billboard magazine prior to the merger. They were exclusive to the Airplay Monitor. With the merger, the Monitor ceased publication and was folded into R&R. These charts are, now, exclusive to R&R. The comparable Billboard charts don't exist as the current R&R charts are, effectively, continuations of the Monitor charts. One other question- what is considered the "chart date" of these new R&R charts? For example, the 08/11 chart was data through 08/05. The current charts indicate "week ending 08/28". So is 08/28 the continuation of the 08/11 sequence, or would that not be the correct chart date? Wish I had a clear answer to that one. I'm still trying to figure it out myself. As far as I know, the printed publication is still dated for the Friday of the week that the charts are released (i.e. the current mag is dated 9/1/06, still following the 8/11 sequence). I'd presume that that's the "official" date. Not sure why the charts on the site list 8/28 this week. 8/28 was Monday. As far as I know, the cut-off point for the monitored chart week is Sunday night (just as it was when R&R used Mediabase). The web site seems to be dating things for the start of the new monitored chart week. Which, to me, just seems odd and more confusing.

Huh, I thought for sure that WCEN and WKCQ (both Saginaw, MI stations) were still on BB's panel, ditto WMUS in Muskegon, MI. I know I've seen them on the adding lists.
